It's been ten years since I last saw her. I am still studying and currently majoring in business. I have
to work right after I graduate. You could say that my life has been set for me. I truly am grateful for
having this incredible life but there's something. Something I can't quite put my finger on. As I was
about to finish studying my phone rang. The caller I.D is unfamiliar so I hang it up. Lately I have been
receiving text messages and calls from someone. I discussed it with my father and said that I do not
have to worry about it. I didn't feel safe from my fathers words so I went to my mother. "Oh dear"
she said "Have you tried answering one of his calls?"
"I was afraid so I didn't pick up"
"I see.. I'll talk to your father about this. Don't worry, we'll always protect you" she said with a
comforting smile on her face. I guess it showed in my face that I was scared. "Thank you Mother. I
promise you, I'll be the best daughter you'll have!" I said to ease the situation. "Haha! I see. Well,
your mother has to go. I'll see you in a bit" "Goodbye Mother! Have a safe trip!". I should check the
group chat if there are assignments. I decided to study for a bit. It sure is raining a lot. I better take
care to not get sick.
*Knock knock*
I looked at my cellphone to see what time it was. It's around 10:55 pm. Who could be knocking at my
door at this hour? I got up from my desk to open the door and as I was going, the guy from the other
side started saying strange things. I don't think it was unintentional since I can clearly hear him from
here. The guy then started to knock on my door like there was no tomorrow. Anybody would be
scared to death if this were to happen to them but I wasn't. It was strange, it was like hearing a
familiar voice. Deep down I don't want to open the door but there's this feeling that I should. That
maybe if didn't open the door, I would regret it. I decided to open the door and what appeared in
front of me was not a silhouette of a man but a silhouette of woman.
"Long time no see, Gwenn"
A tan skinned woman with the eyes bluer than the sky and that beautiful figure anyone would die for.
There's no doubt. It was Alisa.
"A-Alisa? Is that you?!"
"You bet!"
I didn't even know what I was thinking at this point. All of my focus is directed at Alisa. I thought I
would be fine if we were to see each other again but I guess not. Maybe I was too attached to Alisa
from back then. I let Alisa come inside since it was raining heavily. I gave her a cup of hot cocoa so
she can warm up. She always liked hot cocoa. "Thanks" she said as she carefully sips in her cup. My
curiosity was piqued as to how she got here.
"Hey"
We never did send text messages to each other so I was wondering and why is it now of all times.
Now that I think about it, those text messages and calls were from an unknown caller I.D.
"Gwenn?"
It didn' t cross my mind that there may be a possibility that Alisa was the caller but that would be
impossible.
"Earth to Gwenn"
We haven't kept in touch with each other in the last 10 years! I might really be overthinking it.
"Hey Gwenn!!"
"Oh! Sorry I was just... thinking about some stuff"
"Stalker issues?"
"I wouldn' t call it stalker issues... well I guess it is"
"Hahahaha! Same as always"
"What do you mean? Don't just laugh it off! I'm having hard time dealing with this"
"Sorry sorry. Have you talked to your parents about this?"
"I did. They said not to worry"
I was not sure whether Alisa muttered something but I get this feeling that she did. She probably
said something about my parents. Alisa never did liked my parents. My parents tried everything to
befriend her but it was all a failure.
