Outcast. Freak. Demon.
That's what she's called. Nobody took the chance to know this girl. But... she didn't care. Love is not in her vocabulary. Kind is dead to her. Emotionless is what she is. But, then again she doesn't care.
One person... only one... knows her. Her bad days and good days. Ups and downs. Moods. This girl is Jo'Nay Freeman. Toni's best friend.

"TOOOONI!!" A voice yelled. The said girl yelped and fell off of her seat. 'There goes my peace and quiet' Toni thought. "Hey Jo." Toni said emotionlessly. Jo'Nay groans.
"Could you AT LEAST sound happy to see me?" Jo'Nay asked. "No." Toni responds bluntly. Jo'Nay rolled her eyes. "Anyway! How's your day so far?" Jo'Nay asks calming down a bit.
"Horrible." Toni answers. Jo'Nay sighs. "Really NiNi?" Jo'Nay asks. Toni shook her head. "Don't call me that." Toni says in a monotone voice.
"Toni!" Jo'Nay whines. This time, it was Toni who rolled her eyes. Toni blew a piece of her dark red, almost crimson colored hair from her face. Jo'Nay unconsciously stared at her best friend.
Toni turned to see her best friend staring at her. The two girls locked eyes. Toni's teal blue eyes staring into Jo'Nay's dark brown eyes.
Just then, the bell rang signaling it's the end of class.
"Ahh. C ya at lunch T-Toni." Jo'Nay stuttered walking out of the classroom. Toni tilted her head a bit. 'Why was Jo'Nay so nervous?? Why do I even care?! Why do I have this feeling... like I miss her?' Toni thought.
Toni's face scrunched up in frustration. She hates thinking so much. Sighing, Toni walked to her next period.
