Chapter 113 - Chapter 113: The Orc Chieftain!

"Roar!"

Whoosh!

On the city wall, an orc wielding a spiked warhammer leapt into the air, ready to crush the defenders below. In the next instant, a fiery slash struck him, severing his head.

The headless corpse teetered for a moment before crashing to the ground.

Qin Ming, standing amidst the chaos, hurled another flaming sonic slash, spinning through the air to carve through the approaching orcs.

One slash after another flew from his hands, cutting through the horde with terrifying speed. Despite their thick hides, the orcs fell like wheat before a scythe—severed limbs, cleaved torsos, and fatal strikes left their numbers dwindling rapidly.

With the tide of battle reversed, Qin Ming single-handedly held the wall. Orc after orc was sent sprawling, forcing the attackers to retreat under his relentless assault.

Earlier, Qin Ming had held back from using his skills, wary of revealing his full strength to the other adventurers. Should any of them turn out to be as formidable as Feng the Adventurer, he could have been left vulnerable.

Now, with three of them dead and only Twin-Guns remaining, Qin Ming no longer felt the need for restraint. Even if she were a top-tier opponent, he had no fear in a one-on-one fight.

This battlefield was his hunting ground.

With another slash, Qin Ming's fiery blade sliced through an orc's shield and body in one sweep.

Blood sprayed across the stone as he followed up with a reverse punch, the flaming vortex around his fist slicing half the head off another orc.

Advancing with brutal efficiency, Qin Ming rammed a third orc in the chest with his shoulder, sending the squad leader hurtling off the wall and crashing into the chaos below.

Though his ferocity earned him the attention of the remaining orcs, none could breach his defenses. His B-tier combat mastery and overwhelming toughness rendered their attacks useless.

Even the warhammers of elite orcs bounced harmlessly off his skin, their strikes no more effective than gentle pats.

As Qin Ming landed a pair of slashes to finish another orc squad leader, a shadow loomed over him.

From beyond the wall came a massive figure, leaping several meters into the air.

"Damn it!" Qin Ming cursed, rolling to the side just as the figure landed with a thunderous crash.

The impact shattered the stone where Qin Ming had been standing, leaving jagged cracks radiating outward.

Heavy breathing filled the air as the giant figure straightened, fixing its gaze on Qin Ming.

Qin Ming's sunglasses flickered, scanning the newcomer.

Name: Orc Chieftain (Dragon King Warriors Act 1 Boss)

Strength: 40

Constitution: 40

Agility: 20

Spirit: 10

Skills:

Thick Hide (B-tier)

Meteor Hammer Strike (C-tier)

Gravity Smash (C-tier)Description:

Orcs are not known for intelligence, and the Orc Chieftain is no exception. But where brains are lacking, sheer power reigns supreme.

Wearing heavy armor and dragging two massive meteor hammers behind him, the four-meter-tall Orc Chieftain resembled a moving fortress. The iron balls of his hammers were as large as human heads, their swings potentially as devastating as cannon fire.

Grinning savagely, the Orc Chieftain hurled one of his hammers with incredible speed and accuracy, the chained weapon hurtling toward Qin Ming.

Despite the Chieftain's lack of wit, his weapon mastery was formidable. The hammer's speed and precision were enough to overwhelm most opponents.

But Qin Ming wasn't most opponents. With his B-tier combat mastery and battle instincts, he easily sidestepped the attack, the hammer grazing past him.

As the hammer continued along its arc, Qin Ming raised a hand, unleashing a fiery slash down the chain.

The spinning slash sent sparks flying as it raced toward the Chieftain's hand. The strike cleaved through his gauntlet, nearly severing his fingers and forcing him to drop the hammer with a pained roar.

Before he could recover, Qin Ming launched a second fiery slash, this time aimed at his face.

Qin Ming pressed the attack. Left hand, right hand—six consecutive slashes ripped into the Orc Chieftain, shattering his armor and leaving his body riddled with burns and gashes.

Though the Chieftain's B-tier Thick Hide skill minimized the damage to superficial wounds, the assault left him visibly dazed.

With a furious roar, the Chieftain regained his senses, shortening the chain on his remaining hammer and transforming it into a compact weapon. He charged recklessly at Qin Ming, swinging his weapon in a frenzied attempt to crush him.

Qin Ming, undeterred, roared back and charged to meet him.

The two collided with a deafening crash. Qin Ming grabbed the Chieftain's wrist mid-swing, halting the hammer.

Despite his overwhelming strength, the Chieftain's bulk forced Qin Ming into a retreat. Skidding backward, Qin Ming's heels dug into the stone until his back slammed into the wall, leaving cracks spiderwebbing across its surface.

Snarling as the Chieftain loomed over him, hammer poised for a killing blow, Qin Ming suddenly surged forward. His mouth opened wide, biting into the Chieftain's exposed throat.

The Chieftain roared in agony as his armor offered no protection. Worse, his strength began to wane as a sickly sensation spread through his body.

Meanwhile, Qin Ming's form grew larger, his height surging past two meters.

A-tier Skill: Essence Drain!

Every injury Qin Ming had sustained vanished as his wounds healed instantly. All his attributes gained a +5 boost, pushing his already monstrous strength into terrifying territory.

With a furious yell, Qin Ming hoisted the four-meter-tall Chieftain into the air as though he weighed nothing.

With a ground-shaking crash, he slammed the Orc Chieftain into the ground, the impact sending debris flying.

As the Chieftain struggled to recover, Qin Ming delivered a fiery punch directly into his eye socket, searing the flesh and blinding him.

"Flaming Fist!"

The Chieftain flailed as Qin Ming followed with another slash, then another, each strike landing with devastating precision.

The tide of battle had shifted once again, and the Orc Chieftain's overwhelming presence was rapidly diminishing under Qin Ming's relentless assault.
