Hiding all my nervousness, I look forward, "You ready?"
Seeing her clutching the seat-belt shyly, she nods as she answers in a much more demure tone , "Let's ...go"
Not long after, we arrive at our destination.
Where you ask?
E-world!
E-World a theme park built around 1990's that has fun for almost all ages.
There are rides and attractions for toddlers and elementary aged children and many other attractions for adults.
The children's sections are segregated from many of the teen and adult attractions, so it's fairly easy to distinguish section to section.
They have many rides that are typical to westerners with a few that I'll admit that I have never seen before.
Concessions are everywhere which provide much Korean style carnival themed food and drinks.
There are plenty of eateries ranging from chicken stands, carnival food, burger places, a pizza spot and dessert booths.
This is the best for an all day affair especially on vacations and weekends that allow you to get out during normal working hours.
One of the better attractions are definitely the animals, and at certain times of day, you'll be able to feed the little birds in a room which allows the birds to land and eat from your hand.
Where else would two teenagers in Daegu go on a weekend?
Given that it's still relatively early, somewhat unsurprisingly there are not much people here yet and finding a parking space is pretty easy.
As we disembark, I feel the blazing son hit me, making my face scrunch up for the impact.
I look towards Hora and see that she's found herself in a similar in a similar state of bother.
Since I don't want to be spending too much time out here on the tarmac reflective surface.
We both hurry towards the ticket both, thereafter heading inside and make a bee-line for the concessions stand where I purchase bottled water for each of us, the cool water against the blazing heat puts my body in a state of zen.
"What do you want to do first?"
Before answering with a slight sweat on her brow, she unscrews the lid of the bottle takes a quick sip, and makes a face only a CF model could make.
'DIRECTOR! DIRECTOR! Come film this!'
"l don't know" she says, "...Anything really"
Since she's pretty much given her consent at this point. My eyes light up in excitement.
*Cue montage of Dylan taking a reluctant Hora on all the craziest amusement rides*
*Phew* 'I'm beat'

It's around twelve when we decide to have lunch at one of these upscale restaurants where they sell things like de-constructed spaghetti.
Dear readers, I think it's about time I teach you all a little life lesson. Anything and I mean anything de-constructed is just the biggest, I repeat biggest scam ever! They are just ingredients made separately and not put together and for a higher price at that! But at the same token if a restaurant does not have any de-constructed foods or any gastronomic experiences it's not posh enough for a date.
As we sit down, a waiter come's over to our table and begins to take our order.
Unlike in a romantic film where the guy orders for both on the date. I let Hora take the reigns, her family owns a restaurant, she is way more knowledgeable than me in this regard.
A short while later the waiter returns with both hands filled to the brim.
His carrying two large trays on which sits rustic styled pizzas.
Placing it down, he then disappears to fetch our refills.
I watch in wonder as Hora begins her mini mukbong, as she starts eating and eating and eating.
Where does she find the space for all that bread in such a tiny body?
Smilingly I ask, "You enjoying it?"
Trying not to waste a single moment, she speaks while not having fully chewed her current bite, "I could have pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner"
She is the happiest I have ever seen her been.
There really is no love more sincere than the love for food.
The little rabbit and I continue our meal and chat about various miscellaneous issues.
Before our deserts arrive, I excuse myself to the bathroom.
Instead of actually heading there however, I head to the waiter to request something special.
This process takes quite sometime as we have to work some logistical issues out
Soon thereafter I make my way back to my seat where I find Hora a little irritable given the amount of time I've been gone.
As she is begins asking, "Where have you been?" with a small pout.
I smile and signal to the staff to begin the plan.
The lights suddenly switches off in the restaurant.
It doesn't completely darken the room as it was suppose to in my imagination but that's to be expected, since it is only 1pm in the day!
Damn! I'm such a idiot! Nothing ever works out like in the movies anyway.
The plan was for the room to be dark and the wait staff to come out singing happy birthday while a cupcake with a single candle on it illuminates the room.
Instead, what I have is a mildly lit room with awkward off tune singing.
Hora looks genuinely embarrassed as they draw nearer.
As the singing draws to a close, the restaurant is silent.
I get up from my seat and take the cupcake from the waiter's hand, being careful not to have the candle's flame extinguish.
I move it closer to her and utter softly before her,
"This is the part you make a wish, Baechu"
