Quinn looked expressionless at the supposedly wise man known as the creator in front of her. The man sighed loudly feeling the girl's eyes that weighed a ton on his shoulders.
"I supposed you're tired from all these but I promise you, it wasn't a curse, its all due to bad luck. I haven't intercepted your fate. I tried the best I could and I'll continue to... So don't lose hope and don't commit suicide, I promise it'll be right this time." The man said with conviction as if to persuade her a way out of her endless misery.
Quinn's frustration blew up and she cried out angrily. "Why won't you just let me rest in peace! I have died far too much already, please just let me end this misery!" This guy... No matter how guilty he felt, he couldn't just force her to continue and reincarnate a hundred times.
That's right, she reincarnated more than she could count that she lost track of it herself. She always ended up the same though... Dead after a month's time, perhaps even shorter in a span of just a few days. In all of her personas, she didn't even live past the age of 16...
She hated the number now, it was like a curse beckoning her of her impending doom. She always ended up dead, the only difference was the method of how she died. Poison, murder, drowning, fire, bombing, earthquake, disease... You name it. She had experience it all, all except for suicide, which she now considers to be her next death sentence.
They say the end can become the beginning of something new, Quinn never thought of the truth that rung into those words until she experienced it herself. Only, her end never came and her beginning's have become far too much that she lost track of it herself.
The man presented an apologetic expression, faced with her questioning face, even with his powerful bearing. He couldn't help but blame himself for being careless and reckless that this young girl has experienced so much just because of his thoughtlessness. Next time, he needed to be thorough and guide her through a path of justice that she deserves.
"I know but I cannot let an innocent young child get corrupted just because of my recklessness. I have overlooked such a small thing and I want to correct the consequences of my actions. I will make sure that nature will take its course and that you will get the life that you deserve. So for now, have faith in me and let me end your misery. Fear not my child, because for this life I will be you're guardian. I will listen to you and help you live till the age of old."
Frustration grew in Quinn's face. She felt so miserable because of her past lives... She couldn't live like that again. The man in front of her looked at her knowingly.
She knew he could read her thoughts but no matter how hard she tried to reason with him. He wouldn't listen to her no matter what. Instead he would propose that she should live another life.
Quinn was about to argue again but instead her consciousness faded and black enveloped her vision. She felt sleepy all of a sudden but not before she hear a faint sound along the lines of 'Live your life, for I will always guide you.' Then she blacked out.
