I'm one of those people, which is kind of peculiar. I'm normal, but at the same time, not normal. Why? It's because of somethung that always happen to me. It's because of my dreams. My dreams, that always come to life.
It started when I'm on the ninth grade. I entered a new boarding house near my new school. I am resting after a very tiring day when suddenly, I saw several images in front of me.
"Sino ka ba? Ano bang mayroon kayo?!" a man shouted. They're faces were vague, but their clothings were distinct. The man who spoked wears a jeans and a black jacket with a cap.
Is there any problem about that?!" the man in shirt said. They're both yelling at each other.
"Girlfriend mo 'to?! I thought she's a dancer here. Look at what she wears. She looks like a hooker!" and then, the man in the jacket fell down, for a punch landed upon his face. I finally heard the voice of the girl.
"Stop it, Michael!"
"You will pay for what you said about her!" and the man in the shirt launched himself towards the guy on the floor. They're now fighting to each other. I can hear their curses to each other as well as the cries for help of the lady which is the reason of their brawl.
"I will kill you!" the man named Michael yelled.
"Michael, stop it! Somebody help!" the lady cried, looking for someone who can help her. She's crying and in distress as to how she can stop the brawl of the two guys in front of her. Until her eyes fell upon me. I was taken aback by it.
"Please, help me. Tulungan mo ako." she said and wrung my hands. I don't know what to do. I can see her face full of tears. Her makeup wore off because of her tears.
"Please, help me! Somebody might die if we can't stop them!" she told me. I can sense the urgency of her appeal. I gazed towards the guys fighting. I am about to walk towards them, but I can't move. Nagtaka ako sa nangyari.
"What's the problem?" she asked. I tried to answer her, but even my mouth can't be nudged. I wondered as to what is happening to me. I heard her cry again.
"Tulungan mo ako! Baka may mangyaring masama kung hindi natin sila mapipigilan. Help me, please. Help me." she cried to me. I wanted to help her, but I can't move my body. Hindi ako makagalaw. My eyes fell again towards the two guys fighting.
"Please help me. Please..." the voice of the lady rung inside my head. Her cries for help. But then, my eyes widened and my heart skipped a beat upon seeing the next scene that happen in front of me.
"Michael, no! Don't! No-" the lady shouted, but it's already too late.
The guy in the shirt, named Michael, started pounding the head of his enemy with a large rock while yelling curses to him. The first blow hit the target, and the man immediately bleed. But the next blows were so strong, that made more damage towards the man in the jacket. Michael didn't stop hitting the other guy, until it lays there lifeless. The scene was bloody. And I can see the damage dealt by Michael to the deceased guy.
"M-Michael...N-Napatay mo s-s'ya..." the lady spoked with a shaky voice. It seems the man came back to his senses as he immediately pushed himself away from the lifeless body.
"T-Tara na." Michael said and pulled the lady along him.
"Michael, you killed him! Look!"
"Yes, I know. I killed him and I don't want to be in prison. Kaya kung ayaw mong mahuli tayo, tara na. Umalis na tayo dito. Alam kong ayaw mo ding makulong." Michael said with a firm voice. The lady fell silent. Michael pulled her towards a parked car along the road. After that, everything spinned like a spiral and I came back to my sense, sweating and catching my breathe as I sat on my bed. That was just a dream, but it seems so real.
That time, I went up just to see the time was already six o'clock. I started to arrange myself for I have a class that day. I quickly readied myself. Then, after arranging my things, I went out my room and tell the landlady that I'm going to school.
It's just a few blocks away.
And as I was walking towards our school, I saw from a distance a crowd of people. They're crowded into something that I can't see from my position. Out of curiosity, I quickened my pace and tried ti peak at the thing that caused this crowd of people. My eyes widened upon seeing the thing they're looking at.
It was a body of a man, his head was crushed. The place was full of blood. But the thing that caught my attention was the attire of the man. It matched, exactly matched, that attire of the man who was killed in my dream. I felt a series of chill flowed through my spine. I thought it was just a coincidence, but it proved not, for after a jew seconds, a familiar voice echoed around the scene.
"John! Pare! Anong nangyari sa'yo?! Sinong may gawa nito?!" my eyes widened as I look at the man who just arrived at the scene. He wore different clothes but the voice was exactly as it was when I heard it in my dream.
"Sinong gumawa nito sa kaibigan ko?! Sino?!" I can't move even a single step as I watched the scene in front of me. I knew this guys was the Michael in my dream, who killed, crushed the head of the victim in front of us. Paano n'ya nagagawa ito?
"Police! Tumabi kayo sa crime scene!" I flinched upon hearing a voice. I saw a cop marching towards the victim and the mourning guy at the center of the crowd.
"Mister, bitawan n'yo muna ang katawan. Kami na ang bahala." a deep voice said. It came from a police inspector with a fine build.
"Officer, hulihin n'yo ang may gawa nito sa kanya. Ikulong n'yo ang hayop na gumawa nito sa kanya!" Michael said. Then, something in me bursted out.
"It's you who killed him! Ikaw si Michael, hindi ba?" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Silence fell upon my shout. Michael and the officer turned their gazes towards me.
"Ikaw ang pumatay sa kanya! You killed him. Because he called your girlfriend a hooker! You killed him with a big rock!" I yelled again. The officer look at the person I'm talking to. Michael's eyes were wide and her jaw were clenched as I shouted those things.
"S-Sino ka?" Michael asked. I saw he was alarmed by my sudden confessions as well as confusion upon his face that time. The officer looked at me.
"I saw you last night. You killed him!" I said again. The officer spoke this time.
"Who are you?"
"A-Ako si Ydehsar Apilla. I can stand as a witness for his grievous crime!" I told him.
After that, I told everything I have seen in my dream the night before that day. Until I told them that the most solid evidence that Michael did kill John was the clothes he wore when he murdered John. Another thing that pinned him to his crime was the confession of his girlfriend.
Minsan, nangyayari agad at minsan natatagalan ngunit nangyayari parin. But with this dreams, I can see something that will happen. And now, I'm in the eleventh grade, and many people were hunting me. One of those is someone named Einstein.
