William took another gulp from his mug before he set it down and said, "So? Who did you offend and what did you do wrong? As long as you didn't go too far, I may be able to lend you a hand. Of course, it'll cost you."
"Eh? What makes you think that I was the one at fault?" Linkin asked with a helpless smile.
'I mean, I did steal his client from right under his nose. But, still, at least give me the benefit of the doubt!'
"You still have the nerve to ask that question after the stunt you pulled earlier today?" William sneered as he lightly tapped the table with his finger.
Linkin looked to the side to avoid William's gaze and replied nervously, "W-well, that was that, and this is this—they're two completely different matters."
