Although the dungeon was located under the castle, the exit led to a surface area that was outside of the main castle grounds.
Linkin reached the surface and had successfully escaped from the dungeon in one piece. He shivered a bit when the cold night breeze hit against his skin.
'Now, I should probably ditch these clothes before the real Bob wakes up.'
However, there was just one problem. He had no idea where to go from here! Linkin knew that his first priority at the moment was to get away from here and then figure out his current location.
'Since I was supposed to die, it's likely that I'll be hunted down once the real Bob awakens. At the very least I have some currency to work with; even if I don't understand how it fully works just yet.'
Linkin only knew that whoever he the original owner of this body was, he had offended someone that he obviously could not afford to offend. His life was treated as if he were a disposable piece of trash. This was all because he accidentally bumped into someone!
For some reason, this angered Linkin and made him decide at that moment, he would eventually get his revenge. Not just for himself, but it was also a way to repay the original owner of this body who had helped to provide him with a second chance at life.
'Hmph, just because you have a little bit of power you think that you can order me to die? Let's see who will order who to die!'
From Linkin's current position, he could see a quiet yet lively town in the distance. He looked up into the sky and saw three beautiful moons that were all different colors, surrounded by an array of stars.
One moon was green, one blue, and the last was pink. None of them resembled the moons from Earth where Linkin was originally from.
It was at that moment realization started to really set in. It caused Linkin to feel many different emotions all at once. Anger, happiness, confusion, fear, and strange enough, sadness.
He was angry for being put into such a ridiculous situation right from the start. He was happy because he had been given another chance at life.
He was confused and fearful of this world full of unknowns and uncertainties. He was sad because there was a good chance that he would never see his own world again.
However, Linkin was the type of person to adapt to any situation that presented itself before him. To him, this was just another thing that he had to adjust to.
There was also one other emotion Linkin felt, excitement! How could he not be excited at the prospect of a new world?
Linkin headed in the direction of the town. The first thing he wanted to do was to change out of these clothes and into something a little less conspicuous that did not stand out as much.
Grrrrrooowl...
Linkin put his hand over his stomach and gave a helpless smile.
"I feel like I haven't eaten in days..." Linkin muttered to himself. Now that he was out of immediate danger, fatigue and hunger started to set in.
It took Linkin around thirty minutes to arrive at the town on foot. The first thing he did when he reached the town was to find some new clothing. Although, it was not exactly by any legal means that he had done so. Linkin had "borrowed" some clothing that was hanging out on a clothesline.
He no longer had that mask on or that gloomy set of clothing. If he had to describe his current appearance, then it would be that of villager number one that appeared frequently in video games back on Earth.
After he asked around for a bit, Linkin discovered that there was an inn nearby that provided a room and food for a fair price. He decided to head over as he wasn't sure his stomach could take much more suffering.
Linkin arrived outside of a simple looking inn that was built out of some type of wood. It had a small sign dangling in the front with written words that Linkin could not understand.
