"So, your back?" Faith said as she softly sat in the wizard's tower drinking tea. The Ball was still somewhat ongoing.
"Teacher…" Merlin said softly as he walked in
"Duke Lucius Augustus, you saved him didn't you," Merlin said as he joined her table.
"Should I not have."
Merlin looked said, "He will start a war with Avalon."
"I know."
"Then Why?"
"I saved a life, Merlin."
"Besides, do you think Arthur won't be able to defeat the Romans."
"…." Merlin looked like he wanted to say something but didn't
[Half a Month Later]
Faith walked the silent halls to the King's room that was somewhat the same as the last time she had been there. Uther was sitting alone when she walked in, and he had a peaceful expression on his face.
"Rosemary" Faith began to say as she sat down on the other side. "My favorite" she picked it up and took a sip.
"Father had always said it was your favorite and soon enough I took grew to like it.
"He did everything he could to remember my favorites, and it was like his life depended on it. Well, he had to find some way to appease me whenever we fought"
Faith said simply.
"Mother if you hadn't left, do you think what happened between Urania and me would never have begun."
"Rose did what she did because it was what she believed was right and you were not any different. If I had been there, I certainly would have done something, but it wouldn't stop how you both felt."
"…" Uther looked somewhat lost in thought. "Arthur, he's been a good child ever since he was young. I don't think he held a high opinion of anyone before…." Uther began to say
"Uther"
"You and He would be the best match."
"Uther"
"Besides, you have been Queen once, and whose says you can't be Queen again."
Faith had a feeling of where this was going. "Uther if you're telling me to marry my grandson, I will throat chop you."
"Haha, Please Don't" Uther pleaded with a smile before his eyes waned in tiredness. His eyes began to fill with all kinds of emotions.
Faith stood up after her tea was empty and hugged Uther from behind in his Chair.
'Sometimes I wish I could go back to those time when all of us were together." His hands looked frail at this moment, but he lifted one to gently touch her own. He leaned back as Faith used her free hand to cover his own.
What comes next were whispers of a spell as she trembled slightly when her hand became wet with his soft tears. His hand that was touching her own fell down softly.
When she let go the last thing, she was of the King Uther was a smile on his tired face.
Faith was lying of the grass without a hint of emotions; she looked at her hands and clamped them together before they laid on her stomach. Where Tears finally fell.
"Goodbye Uther"
