Chapter 173 - Chapter 7. Hermit, More Children Come

Demos was relaxing on a simple wooden chair by his little farm he was half asleep Lois was by his side also asleep. Alanis and Alexia had gone into the forest to hunt.

Then He opened his eyes to see a group of children, and Demos frowned they were in rags.

There was four of them.

A boy the oldest looked about eight years old he was trembling while holding a knife. He had blood stains on them.

The other three two boys and one girl seemed to be about a year or two older then Alanis and Alexia. They looked frightened, the girl with tears in their eyes.

"We're Back!" Demos heard Alanis and Alexia yell as they jumped from the trees an into Demos' arms. They didn't notice the other four children.

The older boy calmed down somewhat at the newcomers who seemed younger than them.

However, Alanis and Alexia became somewhat hostile when they saw his knife was pointed Demos.

"You four come here" Demos beckoned still in his chair. None of them moved for a while, but, it was the girl who made the first steps toward Demos, slowly and nervously. The other three still didn't make a move.

Demos patted the young girls' heads "You must have been through a lot" he continued to pat her head. The young girl eventually stopped trembling as she looked at Demos with her. The little people used their magic and cleaned the little girl right up, surprising her.

The little people brought over some clothes, which Demos quickly had her change out of her old ones. Afterword's he lightly tied her long brown hair back, so it wasn't in her face.

Seeing that she wasn't harmed and not only that was cleaned and given clothes the other three walked over as well abet nervous.

Demos promptly did the same thing to the other three he watched their eyes sparkle.

"What are your names?" Demos asked

The four looked at each other having no answer.

"We don't have any names, and we are slaves." The older boy said

"Then shall I give you names?" Demos said. Since the four had no response Demos decided. "Then your Adrianos, you are Vasso, you are Fanis, and you…." Demos eyes landed on the young girl as he thought about a name to give her. "Ioanna."

Growl~

Demos heard their stomachs "Haha!" he laughed "It looks like its lunch time." Demos stood up "Come inside." He opened the door for them. His table gave him pause for a moment as what was once three chairs became seven. He scratched his head 'when did the little people do this.' Alanis and Alexia already sat down at the chairs. Adrianos looked the younger children by his side, and they walked towards the table with them.

Demos walked into the kitchen and brought bowls and utensils before bringing out a large pot of soup. Alanis and Alexia wasted no time as they gobbled down their meals. Adrianos, Vasso, Fanis, and Ioanna took a moment before copying Alanis and Alexia.

The moment the soup entered their mouths they became to gobble it down faster than Alanis and Alexia

"Whoa, Whoa, there is no need to rush. There is plenty more." Demos said as he saw their bowls were empty and they were licking it clean." Do you want more?" Demos asked Vasso as he wiped his face.

After a moment the little boy with green eyes and blonde hair nodded his head and Demos poured more soup in his bowl.

"More!" Alanis and Alexia said as they finished their bowls two. Demos gladly filled their dishes, and the pushed their bowls towards him with bitty eyes. So, Demos gave them second as well.

After eating himself, Demos got up an started clearing the table. Alanis and Alexia followed suite to help him. Adrianos, Vasso, Fanis, and Ioanna just watched nervously as they got up and also followed them to see what they are doing.

After cleaning the dishes, Demos walked outside and sat on his chair.

Lois was still asleep after all.

Alanis and Alexia climbed on his lap and laid on his chest before falling asleep.

Adrianos, Vasso, Fanis, and Ioanna watched not knowing what to do but follow as they sat down close to them and after a while, they also fell asleep

It seems the warmth of the afternoon sun was a warm blanket to them.

Demos watched as the little people danced all around him, they seem rather excited today. Demos lazed as he watched them celebrate. Before he too was comfortable enough to fall asleep as well.
