Glass walked into Bennel, another company that seemed to have been trying to rival her own for years without much success. They were also one of the companies that took advantage in leading her employees away when she was almost excommunicated. It is the only one that still stands due to Prince Jared's interference.
Deacon had waited outside the doors.
She looked at the décor of the reception desk and started to get an idea.
She was led to a private room where the company president was.
"Nice to meet you. I am Renz Side. The president of this company."
"Nice to meet you as well. I am Glass, the president of East Trade
Company. Pleased to make your acquaintance."
"Even still, to think I would be able to meet the famous East Trade Company's president."
"Same here. I have quite the good luck, to be able to meet the president of one of the top companies here in the capital." Glass closed her fan and laid it down on her lap.
"…. By the way, the work of art placed in this room are very wonderful."
"…. I am happy you think so."
"Yes. They are all very beautiful, I can't help but be entranced. If 'all' of them were together, it would have been quite the magnificent spectacle." he looked his surprise.
"…. We were in the middle of remodeling, after all. I am truly ashamed that you had to look at the incomplete state of this room."
"Oh? Is that so? I am sure it would be an excellent room when all the pieces are gathered. What are you planning on decorating over there?"
"….That is, still under consideration."
"Is that so… sorry to have asked so many questions like that. After all, you're on good terms with a Marquis. With the help of his help he who has the greatest sense of elegance, I am sure you will be able to get something excellent for that spot." Glass decided no to mention the marquis name as she had gotten all the information, she needed from just this short conversation.
"…Sorry but, why bring up Marquis's name here?"
"You are remarkably close with him, right? So much that you were able to ask Jared for your request."
"...!!"
"…. More importantly, let's move on to the main topic."
"The main topic, you say?"
"Yes, that's right. It is about our management collaboration with My East Trade Company If I remember correct, we were supposed to provide funds in exchange for Bennel Company's location and personnel in the capital and other places… right?"
"Yes, you are correct."
"…I am sorry but, I cannot consent to that."
"…What"
"It is certainly true that we need places. But it would be fine if we just acquire them from other sources… I do not think I want them as much the amount you asked for it."
That might be true. However, … If I may say something, Miss Glass, I had assumed that East Trade Company wanted to have connections with Prince Jared, though."
"…. Yes, however after thinking it through, we decided that we could just consult someone else. Just as your company consulted the Marquis."
"How do you…!"
" This was all I came here for, I must go." Glass said standing up "I have a very busy schedule" she left a stunned man lost in thought.
Glass saw Mr. Sei as she walked by him "Don't disappointment me "she said. Mr. Sei was sent to an orphanage as a child by his brother secretly. His parents eventually found him and where trying to bring him back to the household when they where killed and then sent back to the orphanage. He went to school and impressed Glass as she decided to look further into it, she trained him to take over his brother's position and have their company absorbed into her own, meanwhile he still kept his Position. It took four years but now she was ready to use this card.
He walked into the building with a group of men and legal documents with a smile.
'East Trade Company will soon become the United Trade Company' She thought as she sat in her office in the East Trade Company Mall.
Buzz, she answered it "Silvester is here to see you" she heard Deacon voice.
"Send him up, he has been persistent these past years. I'll give him face this once" Glass said. A few minutes later Deacon showed up with Silvester
"Silvester, why have you been trying to contact for this long what is it that you want" Glass gave the former Pope's son no face nor respect the moment she looked at him.
"What a heavy-hearted reception." Deacon had let him go and as Grace entered with Tea. Deacon leaned against a sturdy shelf's he wanted to listen to what the brat had to say.
"Did you think you would be welcomed here?"
"No. I misspoke." Before he became serious "…I have a favor to ask of you."
'You mean to tell me you have stalked me for the past four years to ask for a favor?' Glass frowned as she looked at him "What is it?"
"I want you to be my sponsor."
"…." Glass glanced at Deacon whose face screamed all sorts of Things.
"NO"
"Huh"
"You heard me, No."
"Wait at least hear me out."
"NO" she eyed Deacon who moved to get him out.
"Why won't you hear me out."
"It's the same reason that Yuri abounded you, you are useless," She said as Deacon dragged him out. "Tally" he came in. "Contact Roro and send Silvester to him."
Tally nodded "Yes, my lady" he smiled. Glass looked out the window and watched Deacon hand Silvester over to his security who gave him a phone. He looked up suddenly to the blank window and smiled.
Glass sat on her bed her little sister was asleep beside her. Her little sister seemed to like sleeping with her whenever she had nightmares. She softly moved the girl's hair off her face. None of them looked like Maxfield for some reason they all looked like there mothers. Strange isn't it.
