Rose looked at Winter who was playing with his Toy and smiled. She had already looked at the pack of picture's in front of her, and they were just beautiful. Winter was dressed in so many outfits
Jean was still talking to the waiter
The waiters knew them as they had come here a couple of times, they were more than happy to serve them especially since Winter is so cute. Despite knowing how young they are.
Today, she is now eighteen-years-old.
Her mother had been bugging her about when they were leaving. Rose looked at the door as she heard a somewhat familiar and esteemed voice. The older man when directly to Jean before looking at her with a heartfelt smile.
"It's been years, Ally," he said
"Please, just call me Rose."
He signed "Yes, Jean has told me. But You always be that little girl who used to play in my backyard."
Rose smiled
"That's your son?" Jean's father looked at Winter kindly. Winter just stared at him taking in another new face. And then he sat down at the table. Jean pulled up a chair next to Rose. "This is for you."
Jean's father pulled out a thin book. It turned out to be a baby book for Winter. "I wasn't sure what to get you for your birthday. But, I…"
"No, I appreciate...."
"BUHun" Winter was frowning, which caught Rose's attention, and she turns to look at Jean who was making faces at her son. His father laughed.
Jean and his father dropped her off at home and waved goodbye to Winter. The household was mostly quiet. However, Griffin was home to greet her as he gave her the birthday present, he got for her.
It was night as Rose watched Winter try to sit-up on his own. He had no balance, and he ended up wiggling around like a turtle. When Anthony walked in, Rose acknowledged his presence but didn't say anything.
"Can I borrow him?" he asked
"Borrow him?" Rose gave Anthony a frown when she looked up at him.
"I want him to meet my friends."
"He's already met your friends."
"Not, this one" Rose looked at him strangely. These days Anthony has been trustworthy, enough that he has let him have Winter for a day as they ended up sending time with Anthony's friend. Winter returned fine. She didn't know who this friend was, but she thought what could go wrong.
"Sure, make sure to take his bag and stroller" Rose had picked up Winter and handed him to Anthony " it's late, so, don't be out to long" She walked us to grab his bag and stroller "When he gets tired, he'll get cranky. He won't be easy to put to sleep once he is."
"Alright, I got it," Anthony said annoyed before his expression change to a respectful on. Due to Rose glare "I won't be out too late."
"Anthony, make sure nothing happens to him, I won't let you off if you don't."
Rose had watched Anthony leave pretty quickly, but, once he left. She started to think about who this friend of his is. She had a bad feeling growing.
She laid back, for some reason she felt somewhat sleepy and decided to take a nap.
"Miss Rose, Miss Rose!" the fat maid burst through her door. Startling Her "Its an emergency!" she sounded so panicked, this made Rose bad feeling come back. "Your son is in the hospital."
Rose rushed into the hospital and paused when she saw Anthony who was sitting next to Sue.
"The baby is okay. I was just surprised that's all" he said while Sue just looked like she was I a bad mood,
"I should slap, but I don't think it's worth it at this point," Rose said her first completely clenched as she understood, what had happened.
"Slap, Him?" Sue got up and walked over "Why would you…"
Slap, Rose slapped Sue's face so hard that she fell to the ground. Surprising Anthony, he looked couldn't move at the frightening expression Rose was making, it was making him pale with fear.
"You?!" Sue didn't say anything else as she looked at Rose's expression, it frightened her as much as it did Anthony
"My son is in the hospital because of someone, Shouldn't I have done more than slap the both of you."
Rose had rushed to the ward that was keeping Winter inside, leaving the two people behind. Her son seemed to be sleeping soundly as if nothing happened.
