Mana laid her hand in the fountain feeling the cold water on her hands.
"You did better this time. However, you still changed your style of writing again. And Some of it, no a lot of it almost sounded like they weren't your own words."
Mana had grabbed the glowing orb harshly, and it turned into a staff. With a wave the area around disappeared and turned into a place filled with crystals, that sparkled.
A young girl with light short-pink hair was hugging her knees sobbing quietly. Mana let go of the staff, it disintegrated. She bent down and touched the girls head, who responded quickly by looking up, her eyes were red.
"Mom?" she said, tremors started, and more crystals sprang up. "I didn't think, and it is this hard" she cried. Mana sat beside her daughter as the girl leaned her head on her shoulder.
"Rose had chosen death over. Lily had sacrificed most of her emotions. Sunflower gave his body. Aster choose the people over his family. Daisy gave his existence. And Chrysanthemum abandoned her freedom. All of your siblings had gone through painful things to get to where they are."
"Mom, what about you?"
"I..." Mana paused "I had to learn the destinies of others. And that sometimes no matter how much effort I spent, I couldn't save them from tragedies. In the end, I sacrificed someone truly precious to me, So, that I give others a chance."
"Someone precious…Others a chance" Tulip whispered, "But, I'm still scared."
"No one is forcing you to make this decision, and it is all but your own choice."
"But, if I don't people will suffer."
"People always suffer, it's something unavoidable."
"Bu.."
"Tulip, I'm not trying to convince you of anything. I just want you to know that no matter what it is your choice. It is always about choice."
Tulip sighed her form started to change as her hair grew out. She began to look sleepy as she laid on Mana's lap.
"You've made your choice, Then."
"Mmm, I never changed my mind in the first place. I was just afraid" She said softly "Sleeping and knowing that you'll never wake up again is scary...…after all."
After a few moments Tulip had completely asleep, Mana was still rubbing the girls head as emotions flashed through her eyes.
"Goodnight, Tulip" she kissed her forehead as her hand reached out towards the air and her staff from earlier reemerged. Mana had made an extremely comfortable bed and laid Tulip softly on it. And for a few moments watching the girl who will never wake up again sleep.
Tulip represented Wishes and Dreams; her existence took from others, people would never be able to fulfill their dreams as such Tulip choose to sleep forever.
"Mother" Mana heard Rose's familiar voice from behind whose expression looked somewhat sad.
"It's unbelievable hard Rose, maybe, not as hard as Daisy, but still hard" Mana stood up and walked toward her. Suddenly they were back in the fountain area.
"Are you okay?" Rose asked
"Back at you. You lost a sister today" Mana tried to smile but gave up. "I'm going back. Rose, please explain to the rest of your brothers and sisters. As I'm sure, they already felt Tulip disappear.
