Glass sat in a large area filled with green grass, when she was surrounded by the academy's student both girls and guys, they had prepared tables and chairs. Second and even first-year students where
The girls had beckoned for Glass to sit down, Glass was reluctant at first until she saw the girls bring her some sweet and tea. Her lunch had just turned into a tea party.
"Miss Glass have you read the "Memory Dome"?" said a young girl nervously who came up to her with a book in her hands. These students the pass three years have been writing down and observing all the things she enjoyed doing like a fan-club it was starting to scare. But then again Fans are always the scariest no matter what world you're in, Glass had learned this the hard way.
"No, I have not" Glass replied truthfully. Making the girl eyes sparkle in delight as she had found a book her idol hasn't read yet.
"If you want you can borrow my copy" she said
"I would like to" Glass replied with a slight smile as the girl handed her the book and squealed before fainting only to be caught by the other girls behind her as they dragged her away. Glass immediately started dinking tea and began to read. While her audience stared in a daze.
'Creepy' Glass shivered inwardly, before she became absorbed in what she was reading until lunch ended.
The Academy's Class were quite easy Afterall most of it was all about etiquette. Making Glass extremely board as she couldn't wait until she was sixteen so that she could enter the Prestigious Ferlin Magic Academy. Learning about their views on Magic theory had far more value then what is being learned here.
The library and garden by the dorms are her favorite places in the academy they were always to tranquil and peaceful. She remembers mentioning this her fellow students who hate it up right away and tried to view things her point they began to call it "blissful silence." The students really did become orderly and composed, and they really looked up to Glass, the quickness that came with them gathering around her this fast often made her feel more awkward than when the neutral faction was created.
However, nothing feels any less than Mayuri, and it seems she has a goal in mind. She has been getting close to Jared and his lackeys lately, they all seem smitten with her. But that's not was worry her, and it's her younger brother Breton. Who also appears to have joined the fray, he doesn't seem to recognize Mayuri is the same maid that served her personally.
'I hope he doesn't get to hurt' she thought as she looked up from her spot from the library 'speak of the devil.'
Breton was walking toward he seemed to be glaring at her. She signed as she had an idea why he was looking at her like that.
"Sister" his glare turned vicious as he looked at her as he slapped his hands on the table where her tea is as the teacup spilled due to the force.
'My Tea' Glass thought sadly
"How can you be so inhumane as to bully someone."
"The Barron's daughter is seducing my Fiancé," Glass said with a cold face still thinking about her lost tea.
"That doesn't mean you can bully her."
Glass signed inwardly as she is not actually bullying Mayuri. "A Barron's daughter who doesn't know her place is making advances when she shouldn't" Her glare started to make Breton tremble inside "Little brother do you really think you are right." Glass stood up "You, the heir to the hall family-line forgot his place as well, instead of acting as an heir you are dress chasing some adoptive child of a lowly Barron."
Breton backed away in fear, although it didn't show on his face.
A servant came to clean-up the mess, Glass didn't want to drink anymore tea right now. Her Fan-club members are all over the library giving her brother death-stares. Leaving her brother frozen in place, she walked out of the Library Mayuri walked in just as she exited, she ignored the her. But her Fanclub members didn't as both did a quick glance toward each other.
'So, that's what's going on.'
"Say, are you girls. Honest bullying that Barron's daughter or working together with her?" Glass stopped when she was alone with her fan-
Girls. And then casted a spell without them noticing to keep their conversation from going out.
The girls stood frozen as they got to their knees, it seems they weren't even going to try to lie to her.
"My Lady, Prince Jared is not worthy of your splendor" The girls only changed what they call her when they want her forgiveness
"We All believe this so to be so"
" My lady, you had once said that you wished Prince Jared wasn't your fiancé"
"The Barron's daughter was perfect since she had already caught the favor of the prince at first sight"
"Yes, and she went after all the other displeasing council member s who dared to incur your displeasure"
"You are all aware she is part of the neutral faction, yes," Glass said as she didn't face them.
"Yes, all of us are now apart of the neutral faction thanks to her."
"At first we thought the neutral faction wasn't supporting anyone."
"But who knew all along they were supporting you."
"Our Lady, to see you on the throne would be a great pleasure to us."
"And My brother is he apart of your plans?" Glass said as she finally turned to face them, her glare putting pressure on the girls
"..."
"….."
"….."
"No, my lady, the Barron's daughter decided that," A girl said.
"I see' Glass dropped her glare and returned to her normal emotionless expression. "Do you girls understand the consequences of your actions fully."
"Yes, we do," they all said without hesitation.
"And that I might be implicated."
"We…. Didn…"
"No, my lady we did not"
Glass had gotten to her dorm room with a solemn look as she took out paper and pen and began to write a letter to her father.
[After Graduation]
Glass sat in the cafeteria with the rest of her Fanclub enjoying her last time seeing these girls as she is going home straight away after this. All of her Fan-club members joined her in the cafeteria enjoying polite conversations. She had gotten up to exit the cafeteria.
"Bang" Jared burst through the door with an expression that says he's ready to kill as he spotted Glass. Mayuri was at his side without any expression, but no one paid her any mind. Anders and a couple of others had walked up to Glass and...
She was thrown into the ground in front of many people, by Anders who held her down. Glass couldn't believe what had just happened, did they treat a lady with such force. She snapped out of it when she felt killing intent it seemed to be all around her. Her fan-club members, Jared, and his lackeys and Mayuri's whose killing intend were uniquely hidden as her face was in Jared's chest.
"If you have any excuse, let's hear it now, Glass. Regarding all the times you've harassed Yuri."
The sound of Jared's voice resounded in the area. He was looking down with eyes full of scorn.
"…Can you let go of me?" Glass said as she looked at who was Anders holding her down. But he ignored her with a glare and strengthened his hold on her shoulders.
"It hurts, so let me go. …You, the son of the one who serves as the Knight Leader, Anders, who is supposed to wield his power for the sake of the weak; to think you would do something like using brute force to hold down a weak girl." Glass said emotionlessly, and she didn't struggle as she was technically stronger than him. Anders showed some reaction by twitching.
"…You, a weak girl? Please stop joking and think about what you're saying carefully." The sound of her Brother's voice spoke, he's not looking at her like she was his sister, it utterly annoyed her. She is going to teach him extremely harshly when they are home.
"…You, why did you harass her…!" Jared changed the topic back to the main point as she started to get annoyed with Anders holding her down.
"Let me go" Glass glared at Anders who finally let her go — allowing her to stand up on her two feet. After brushing her dress lightly to get the dirt off.
"Fellow students, for these past three years of having enjoyed our time together. To be able to attend this academy with and meet every last one of you, and to those who had treated me well, you have my sincere gratitude. Farewell, everyone." Glass said as she looked to leave passing a furious Jared who grabbed her arms forcefully.
"You will apologize to Yuri before you leave," he said
Smack, Jared didn't know what had happened as his face was hit with her slap which stung. He turned to face her when her glare froze him.
"Me, Apologies to a Barron's daughter. I, Glass Hall of the Hall family have never done anything below my statue and self-respect. But you are a prince and instead of respecting your position choose to dress chase and go after a lowly Barron's daughter. Your Highness, we may have never like each other, but you choose to disrespect me time after time again. Do you not own me an apology, me your fiancée that was set by the King your father himself. Do you not owe your father an apology? For disrespecting his choice in your marriage partner." Glass said calmly as she stopped facing him continue to walk out the double doors of the cafeteria. "You are nothing more than a child who has yet to learn a thing about the real world we live in" was the last thing Jared heard before she left.
"My lady" Glass heard Sara address her politely as she drawled close to her carriage that was sending her home.
'After this year I'll be attending the Ferlin's Mage Academy.' She thought as she leaned back in the carriage before she dozed off into sleep. She was going to have a long ride home.
