Chapter 7 - The Mysterious Letter

I had seen Daniel at the funeral and from the state he was in i figured i'd give him some leverage to recover. So instead i figured i'd investigate Abigale Flincher first.

As soon as i reached my place it was already midnight and i was extremely tired. I ended up dealing with the fire brigade since nobody else wanted to do it.

"This town is pretty creepy Diane" i sighed. The humans here dont seem to be humans to me, i thought as i took my boots off.

As i was about to put my coat in the closet i remembered the letter i had found in Sallys room.

"Alright then Diane, we've got work to do" i told my dead fiance to be.

The letter seemed to have come from the city nearby, which was the first odd thing about it.

I opened it and found a letter inside.

"Dear Sally, Im sorry i couldn't contact you any sooner, you know how my dad is, he wouldn't even let me go outside much. Im getting the hang of life here though, in case you've been wondering... But i'll still be single, so in case you ever make up your mind, and find it in your heart to love someone like me then i hope that we can be together. I have always loved you and always will no matter what you decide.

I hope you're doing well, and i hope that Albert guy will get his execution soon, that bastard deserves to die for making you suffer. Its okay though, my arms will always welcome you Sally, remember that. And i hope you'd write me back one of these days, i really do miss you Sally. Take care for now i'll write to you again once i get the chance. Until then i hope you find peace.

Love Nathan."

I sighed.

With the recorder on i recorded the events that took place today. I was glad that i had brought home some files from Sallys case wothout the consent of the Cheif or else he wouldne ridden me of that as well.

"Man, what a pain these people, how complicated is this going to get?"

I sighed again.

This was going to be a very long case or so i had thought at that time...
