Tears welled up inside of Tang Mo'er's eyes, she bit down on her lower lip and tried to suppress her tears. They had to stay strong and brave through these difficult times.
Tang Mo'er lifted her hand, knocking on the door after calming herself down. "An'an, it's me."
A tender voice responded, "Little sister-in-law, come in."
Tang Mo'er entered the ward. "An'an, I've brought you some chicken soup that I've made, have some while it's still warm."
An'an returned to her bed and said, "Little sister-in-law, just leave it there. I'll have some when I'm hungry."
An'an had been obedient for the past few months, she heeded the doctor's advice and had her medicines and injections on time, though she would always vomit everything out after eating.
"Little sister-in-law," An'an held onto Tang Mo'er's hand, "Can you let me listen to the sounds that the baby makes?"
"Of course."
