Li Si and An Xi were packing their things. Lu Yan was going to rush back at night as there had been a task assigned to him from his superiors.
Just then, a melodious cell phone ring tone sounded. He had an incoming call.
It was Gu Mohan.
He received the call. "Hello, President Gu."
It was uncertain what the other party was talking about. Lu Yan's features turned somber and menacing.
"Understood." He hung up the phone call.
"Yan Zi, we should be setting off now. The hired car is already waiting outside," Li Si said.
Lu Yan turned around and glanced at Li Si and An Xi impassively. "You both get on the car first. I will come shortly."
With that, he strode out the door.
"Yan Zi!" Li Si blocked Lu Yan's way. "This is an order from above. You have to rush back tonight."
Lu Yan pursed his lips menacingly and his gaze was cold and sharp. "Move!"
