Tang Mo'er's soft cry for help traveled into Gu Mohan's ears and his pupils contracted, but he pursed his lips into a grimace and walked forward, holding onto her arm. "What's the matter, where does it hurt? Did the poison act up?"
Hearing his gentle words, Tang Mo'er lifted her eyes and looked at him, smiling through her tearstained eyes. "Mr Gu, did I scare you? I'm just bluffing."
Gu Mohan's tensed up nerves instantly loosened, revealing a distant expression on his handsome face. "Miss Tang, such a prank may be funny to you, but I do not find it at all amusing. You're not welcome at my engagement ceremony, please leave now."
