Bo Yan carried Yan Hua to the bed.
He looked down at the woman in his arms, her long and curly eyelashes were slightly lowered and the expression on her face was calm and beautiful.
With practised ease, his large palm reached into her nightgown and caressed her delicate and smooth waist and back.
She leaned on his chest, listening quietly to his heartbeat.
A moment later, she raised her head, kissing his jaw where some faint stubble had grown out. "Let's sleep!"
Her soft lips with a warm breath landed on his chin, like a soft feather brushing past, a crisp and numb feeling flowing into his heart.
With his tongue against his cheek, the gaze on her grew fonder.
About half an hour later, Yan Hua was drowsy and found that the man holding her was still staring at her. She looked up at his long and upturned eyes. "What, you can't fall asleep?"
He hummed faintly and patted her head. "I'm fine, you sleep first."
