Chereads / Sexual Escapades with the Chad System / Chapter 2 - The Flashback

Chapter 2 - The Flashback

Not given the chance to recover from the loud ding that resounded through his head, a new pain washed over him. Logan felt as if his very soul was being burned and tortured as new, foreign memories flooded his head. This sudden flow of information proved to be too much for Logan to handle, and his brain started to shut down. In the last few seconds before Logan blacked out, a name appeared in his mind, one that he was a stranger too. His name was.. Gavin?

Logan was startled awake by a sharp pain in the recesses of his mind. <> is now fully operational, congratulations host! "The what system?" Logan nearly shrieked, what was this voice in his head? "<> is a cultivation system with the sole purpose of making you, the host, the most Chad person in the world!" Surprise and shock held Logan's body in a rigid position.

"W-where am I? How did I get here?"

Finally taking a second to glance around, Logan found himself laying down in a bed, which was seemingly in a small dilapidated shack. Attempting to sit up, Logan was taken aback by what seemed to be another set of memories, ones that are not his. Years of memories, emotions, and thoughts flashed through Logan's mind.

He used to be an orphaned boy named Gavin. After being kicked out of the orphanage at the age of fourteen, Gavin wandered the lands, trying to find someplace, anyplace that would accept him. After wandering for three months, he stumbled upon a small town. Gavin walked in, delirious, parched, and barely alive, and soon after he passed the main town's gates, he fell unconscious. The guards then dragged him to the nearest hospital, where he slept for 3 days and 3 nights before he woke up with a banshee like scream. His piercing scream was eerily similar to that of a crow in the early mornings.

It had been 2 years since that incident had happened, soon after Gavin woke up, he was rushed to the doctor, while being fed various magical herbs to speed up his recovery. Two weeks later and he was out of there, walking about once again. Gavin walked towards the recruitment camp, as he hoped to join the army. There wasn't much drama in joining, they were in desperate need for volunteers and basically accepted anyone that was there. After training hard and building up some muscle mass for over a year, he was finally promoted into the army, becoming a grunt. Although there wasn't much fun or front line action in being a grunt, it served Gavin well to fortify his mind and steel his will. Finally, on Gavin's eighteenth birthday, he was promoted to private! He could now go out to the front lines! The previous years of constant grunt work and training gave Gavin an aura of strength. Several weeks later, and he got a command from his superior officer, that he and a group of others would be going out as a scouting party, going past enemy lines. Gavin was ecstatic, he had always wanted to go out beyond the walls of this building, deep into the enemy territory with just his sword, killing left and right. They had moved out early the next morning, packing lightly and treading even lighter. While dodging all of the patrols and navigating the unfamiliar terrain, they found themselves to be lost deep within the enemy's territory. Unable to find a way back, they decide to set up camp for the night, small flames being thrown left and right, lighting up various areas of their makeshift camp.

It was a massacre, blood ran like rivers and the presence of death clung to the air. Enemy forces had discovered them while they were sleeping and murdered them in their sleep. You could say Gavin was lucky, the soldier tasked with finishing him off missed and instead gave Gavin a grievous wound to his abdomen. Bleeding, Gavin stumbled away from the camp, he tried to get away from them and hopefully return to his outpost where he might be able to get patched up and saved. With hands wrapped around his abdomen, Gavin set out in hopes of living through all of this. Unfortunately for him the blood loss was too much, and after just a short fifteen minutes of walking, Gavin collapsed to the ground. The exhaustion and blood loss was a killer combo, and eventually took Gavin's life within a field. Delirious and dying, Gavin slowly reached an epiphany. As the light from Gavin's eyes slowly dimmed, something strange happened! Logan's soul was slowly descending into Gavin's body, inhabiting it as if nothing had happened. His wounds on his abdomen and the mental exhaustion was cleared up and fixed! But before Logan could do anything, before he was consciously aware, his new body fell limp, in a state of rest and recovery.

Logan woke up from his stupor filled with shock.

"WAIT WHAT!? I died?" "How did this happen! The last thing I remember was trying to get past Sarah's brother and…" "Is this a new world? I must no longer be on Earth.. does this mean there is magic? Whatever the case, first I should find out what this <> is, it seems magical, and hopefully it's very powerful!"

Logan swung his legs over the bed, and as he was about to stand up when he caught look of his face in the dirty mirror which stood right next to the bed.

"Gah!! My face, it's so ugly! I mean, even on Earth I wasn't the most attractive looking, but it was still better than this face! I need to fix this as soon as possible, as a pretty face leads to a higher chance of me losing my virginity!"

"Ding! <> can make you the most handsome and sexually attractive person in the entire universe and beyond! Through the completion of certain tasks, chad like behaviour, and general charisma building, you can use <> to become a god!"

"You may choose to speak aloud or in your head to communicate with me!"

Logan was shaken to his very core, he could use this to become a god? And what's more, he could use this to get a better face! "Ok System, how do I get a better looking face?"

"Task received: Attain a Better Looking Face; You must go and speak to 5 females and leave a positive image of yourself to them. Difficulty: Low"

"Phew, okay haha, this one should be fairly simple."
