When Han Meixiu's training program was already completed, she was called in Liu Zijian's study.
She was excited as she made her way to the study. It's time for her to have a direction and goal. Although she more or less knew the content of the training program, she's still looking forward on how her husband arranged them.
The moment she came in, she saw Liu Zijian holding a folder and walking towards her.
"Are you really sure you don't want to inform them our relationship?"
When Han Meixiu specifically requested for her identity to be kept in secret, he was actually surprised. How would that be possible?
Although they didn't normally go out often there were still few people who could recognize her. Besides, what's wrong with having the identity of his wife?
But when Han Meixiu explained her reason, he couldn't argue anymore. She has a point. She also mentioned a little disguise would be helpful.
"En." She answered softly. She didn't want to stand out attracting unnecessary attentions and probably troubles.
Also, it's better to filter people around her during her training. She's also not comfortable receiving special treatment because of her status as Liu Zijian's wife.
This time, she's serious. She wanted to make a name for herself. She wanted to prove that her father in law didn't make a mistake inviting her to be part of them.
It would also be a little exciting to pretend to be a plain but enthusiastic trainee.
"You can start as soon as possible if you want." Liu Zijian said after giving her the folder containing the details of her training. He then turn around and sat down on his usual seat allowing his wife to take her time to read the program.
"If you want to change anything, tell me." He continued briefly.
Han Meixu simply nodded as she opened to read the contents while making herself comfortable on the sofa nearby.
"Rope knots technique? Pre Training?" She murmured curiously. "There is such thing as pre-training?" She continued without lifting her gaze from the file on her hands. It wasn't mentioned before.
She knew that the emergency survival part would be embedded on the training program and would probably at the last segment of it. But Rope knots technique was instead listed as pre-training. Wasn't it part of emergency survival?
She looked at the last few pages and found that the second to the last set was indeed the emergency survival segment.
Why was this topic not part of the emergency survival?
Feeling puzzled and confused she looked at Liu Zijian who was currently flipping some papers.
Seeing that he's busy, she decided to ask later on and continued to read the program.
There was nothing out of the ordinary from the entire training program except that pre-training part. If she's not mistaken, pre-training normally contains introduction of the organization or briefing about expectations and probably warnings.
But the one written on the document was quite out of place?
"You have a problem with the program?" He simply asked when he saw that Han Meixiu was seemingly fidgeting.
"It's the pre-training part. It doesn't make sense." She answered.
"The rope technique? I'll be the one teaching you."
'That doesn't make more sense!' Her mind silently answered upon hearing his words. As far as she knew, her training was mostly about gathering information in digital world. If she's not mistaken, she would probably stay in a secluded and safe environment most of the time.
The emergency survival part was just a precautionary measure just in case something might compromise her safety. It was acceptable that only the basics would be discussed and would not take too much time.
But this rope knots technique was separated and the training was actually good for several days.
Plus why would Liu Zijian personally teach her?
'Is he planning something?' Han Meixiu mind formed those words.
"I'm just confused. Why is the rope knot technique a pre-training segment? Isn't it supposed to be part of the emergency survival?"
"Your knot was lousy last time." Liu Zijian immediately said without answering her question directly and deeply looked at her as if he's examining her reaction up until to the very tiny bit of it. His voice was calm without any ripple implying that those set of words were enough for her to understand the reason behind that pre-training program.
Unfortunately, Han Meixiu still had to process his words. Additional lines were formed on her cute puzzled face as she tried to decipher the meaning of his sentence.
"Last time?"
When did she use a rope knot? She was never out for the past few days as she was just recuperating lazily. The only major movement she did was practice shooting. She tried to recall if she did anything or similar to what he's implying. But she never touched a rope for the past few days!
She tried to think back again.
'When did….'
The moment she recalled some not so distant memories, her face started to turn in the shade of pink.
Seeing her starting to get the meaning of his words, Liu Zijian stood up and slowly sat beside her wearing a gentle but a sly simple smile.
"I don't think I need this." She immediately said without looking at his husband who seemed to instantly arrived beside her.
The last time that he was talking about was when she tied his hands up on that 'night'. Could they just forget about it? Wasn't she already punished?
"You do."
"It wasn't for...anything..par..
"It was for survival, right?" He said cutting her reasoning.
"Zijian, last time was just..just a… a spur of the moment. It doesn't mean anything." She somewhat felt that he misunderstood her behavior that time. In a way it could be considered for 'survival' but why does she have a different feeling when she heard her husbands words.
"Tie me up next time until I can't let go of myself." He answered straightforwardly without batting an eyelash. The lights on his eyes were seemingly dancing joyfully as he answered and that devilish smile became even more captivating when he finished his sentence.
Han Meixiu stared blankly at him for quite some time. She didn't know if it was because of his charm or because her mind was clearly giving her endless warnings that it didn't accept any other information to process.
'Something isn't right.'
Looking at his wife's blank face, Liu Zijian gently pinched her nose and said, "We can start now if you want."
"I don't think I need to know how to tie someone properly. If someone will harm me, I can just shoot that person." She tried to gather all the available scattered reasons on her brain to contain her mind that was starting to wonder somewhere not appropriate.
"Also, I can't take too much of your time. I know how busy you are." She added more reasonable excuse to eliminate that part of her training program.
"We can do it at night before we sleep." He nonchalantly answered.
Upon hearing his answer her mind became polluted again. Why did those words seem to be so ambiguous? And the worse thing was, her mind's interpretation wasn't a normal woman would think.
She was in the middle of reprimanding her own self and feeling excited. She became extremely conscious and started to sweat a little while she continuously blushed.
'This is definitely not good!'
Didn't she already learn her lesson?
