In a materialist world, only matter could affect matter. But, in the idealist world, one could use one's "spirit" to influence matter. For example, manufacturing a weapon or producing guns and ammunition would, in a materialist world, involve various tools and assembly lines. The process was complicated, large-scale, and had a high production cost. But in an idealist world, some wielders of supernatural power could change the structure of matter in terms of its internal atomic arrangement by controlling magnetic fields.
For example, they could make nano-products such as graphene and nano-alloys. Manufacturing these required a large production line. However, there were some powerful cultivators who could create extremely precise parts with their powerful micro-manipulation capabilities. Objects such as miniature spiritual fabrications, linked puppets, and so on could be created by a single individual.
