Chapter 89 - Fault

Yu Qiao could tell from the tone of her voice, and the news was not good. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, and a chill ran up his spine. He knew in his gut, whatever news was about to be delivered would be a life-changing one, and it wasn't one he was ready for or wanted to hear.

For him to wake up in the hospital was already a baffling thing, now the nurse was about to tell him something that might be worse. Not to mention Mo Lihua's current appearance, Yu Qiao could just feel that something worse was about to be said. 

Yu Qiao begged the nurse and the doctors to let him see his father, which they agreed to, reluctantly. He was still under observation due to his minor head injury. 

But first, he needed to know what was really going on. With Mo Lihua's eyes red, Yu Qiao also had a strong urge to break down and cry. His father was his only closest relative, after all. They managed to endure a lot of hardship from the time his mother passed away.
