It only took Allen ten minutes to finish the food Jerry brought him and the cook wished him a good night. The head nurse was also done and helped him to his bed before turning off the lights.
Allen waited a few minutes and made sure nobody was around before he slipped back into his ark. He wondered where Link was but decided to not really ask anybody.
He appeared in the room and saw Road brushing Tyki's hair. Her look of pure love reminded him of Somnia and he smiled.
"It seems you're worried?" His voice travels to her ears and she giggled.
"Hehe, I am. But I know he's safe here, with you…." She hugged the white haired teen and threw herself around him.
Road then climbed onto his back to which he supported her with his arms beneath her legs.
"What's this about?" He chuckles at her antics. "Did you miss me already?"
"I did…." Her chin on his shoulder. "We've missed so many years together….I don't want to miss you for a second longer."
"Me too, Road." He nods and sits on Tyki's bed.
He made sure to do so gently to not disturb the man. He held his hand with a firm grip.
"You missed him too…"
"I missed everybody, Road…."
"Ne, Allen?"
"Yes?"
"Why don't you transform into your real form? Is it because of the wounds?"
"It was, but I should be healed enough by now. Why?"
"I don't know, I guess it's because I haven't seen your form since I got my true memories returned. Can you?"
"Anything for you, Road." His skin turns grey with seven stigmata appearing.
Road gasped in awe as his silver eyes turned gold. "You're so beautiful Allen…." She whispers.
"Hehe, why thank you." His mischievous smirk made her happy.
"All of your hosts have always been good looking. I wonder why…"
"Not sure. It's similar to how your hosts have purple hair, I guess. A subconscious need."
"So, you're so narcissistic, that it transferred to your Noah genes? That's so funny~~! Hahahaha!" Her laughter made him do the same.
At this point, Tyki woke up groggily and his eyes slowly opened to the world. He heard their laughter and felt something deep inside of him. A feeling of love and happiness that he hasn't felt since he woke up as a Noah.
"Ugh…you do realize it's rude to be loud when somebody's sleeping, right?" His question made them stop and look at him. "Road? Boy?"
"Tyki! Are you feeling ok? Hurt?" The girl worried over him and grabs his arm.
"No, I'm fine physically, but….my heart feels like it's breaking…" his eyes get cloudy with tears. "We fucked up so bad….." he grabs his face with his right hand, covering his eyes.
"Tyki…." Road was sad as well.
Allen sat in the same spot and Tyki removed his hand from his face before wrapping him in a one-armed hug, hand behind the younger's head.. "How can I be as happy as I am with the amount sadness I'm feeling? Even though, It can't compare to your pain….Vasta…." The nickname rolled off his tongue easily.
Allen slowly pull placed his left arm around Tyki and his right around road to hug them both. A solitary tear falling down his right cheek as he smiled to the wall in front.
"If it's the price I pay to help my family, it's worth it…." His whisper only made them feel worse, but they didn't voice their guilt.
A few minutes later, Tyki calmed down and they let go of each other. All three had puffy eyes and they laughed at that. Allen willed a new set of clothes to appear for Tyki and they were surprised at its sudden appearance.
"How did you do that?" Road asked as she touched the clothes. "It's not like my ability…" she muttered.
"What? You have road's ability now too?" Tyki was in shock now.
"One thing at a time, as for the clothes." He pauses to articulate his thoughts. "I'm Not sure how, but the ark is able to produce my thoughts in reality. Father never really explained to us how it works, but I remember him saying that it's like a friend."
"Yeah, He used to say that and laugh like it was a joke." Road nodded gently at the memory.
"What about Road's ability? You have mine and hers now. Do you have Lulubell's?"
"Is that Lustol's name now? It's nice I can still use her nickname." Allen commented without replying and Tyki waited for a little too long for his liking.
"Pfft, you should see your face." Allen and road chuckles to each other making him more annoyed. "Calm down a little, It seems that whoever I use my Sword on, I can use their abilities at a limited capacity. Like, I can only create a small amount of objects using road's ability."
"Or only using small things to phase though with mine?"
"Exactly. I'm limited in my use of them, whether it's from lack of training or otherwise. I don't know. As for Lulu's, I haven't had time to try."
"What do you mean?" Road asked.
"Well, I'm constantly under surveillance at the order thanks to the whole Ark incident. Pretty much a prisoner with privileges I guess." He shrugs like it's no big deal.
"What!?" Road bristled.
"How dare they….." Tyki glared dangerously.
"It's fine." They looked at him with disbelief clear in their eyes. "Before I awakened, I treated them like my family. It hurt when they distanced themselves from me…." They flinched as they did the same to him, in the distant past.
"I never had memories of a family, except for Mana." Allen rubbed his left eye. "But now, I have those memories. I have a real family I can go back to. Eventually."
"Oh Allen….I'm sorry…." Tyki breathed. "I wish we could change the past, and I know no amount of apologies will lessen your pain."
"…."
"That why, we will make new memories. Happier memories, from now on." The two Noah gawked at him and he was confused.
"Wow, I didn't think Tyki could be so mushy…" Allen whispered to road which laughed like a maniac.
Pfft! HAHAHAHAHA!" Tyki blushes to the point it shows on his dark grey skin.
"I was being serious!"
"And that's what makes it mushy, Tyki~!" Allen playfully replied and the Noah of pleasure chased him around the room.
The younger male easily dodging the older's attempts until they settle back down. Allen was still standing as Tyki gasped for breath.
"How…are you….not tired?"
"Hm….I train." He shrugs and slowly does a one handed hand stand with his legs perfectly straight to the roof.
"Wow…." Road clapped at how fluid his movements were.
"When I was just an exorcist, I needed to gain strength necessary to destroy the Akuma. So I started training. It's funny, because Vastator was also the only one to train his body too."
"We didn't find it necessary. Our bodies are naturally superior to anybody we would be fighting."
"True, I guess." Allen pushes his body with the one hand and lands gracefully on his feet. "But, it can only get you so far."
"Hey Allen?" Road went up to him and gazed at his left eye.
"Yeah?"
"What do you see when you see an Akuma?" His face went hard in an instant and she flinched.
"Why do you want to know?"
"You've always looked desperate to save them and I found it…funny at the time. But now….."
"Now, you're wondering how it is since I'm your brother?" She nods to his question.
Allen took a few seconds and eventually sighs in understanding at her plight.
"I won't lie Road. It's a horrible sight even for me who has remembered 7000 years of memories. It can break most humans and I don't wish for you to know what I see…."
"Oh…." She sounds out.
"Surely it can't be that bad, Boy?" Tyki asks as he changed his clothes.
"…." Allen glared at him but stopped as he knows ignorance is bliss. "If you really wish to know, I can try showing you with Road's ability. But know you won't be able to unsee it once you do." He turns away and sits down at the table with a hard look on his features.
A few minutes passes when Road sat down next to Allen and Tyki did the same.
"What's going to happen now?"
"I need to send you guys back to the Black Ark. I already ordered the Skulls to inform the Earl about Tyki having trouble with his injury, so you should have a good excuse of your absence for a few days."
"But….I don't want to leave you…." Road grabs his arm tightly.
"I don't either, Road…." Allen sighs. "Every single cell in my being wants you to stay. Wants to just be done with this farce of a life already, but…." He pauses. "It's necessary, for you. For us."
"What about us going insane again? I don't want to lose what I've only just regained." Tyki asks as it became awkward silence.
"Oh yes." He raises his palm and two items appear. A ring and an earring. Both have black and whit lines on them, that remind them of Allen's innocence. "I made these and a bracelet for Lulubell. They will keep the madness away." He places the ring on road's right ring finder and hands the earring to Tyki. He ignored the girl's squeal of delight.
"Is this-!?" Tyki almost threw the object away when he touched it. "Innocence? But it doesn't hurt…?"
"Yeah….it's not really innocence per say, but the energy it gives off. I call it Light Matter. I combined it with Dark Matter and formed these accessories." Allen nodded.
"How come I wasn't able to sense the innocence until I touched it though?" Road was still rubbing the ring with love and mumbling about marriage for some reason as the older Noah asked.
"That's because of sorcery." He pauses to let that sink in. "Let's just say I've gotten better at the art since…." Allen doesn't finish but they knew what he was going to say.
Road got sad again but brightened up in an instant.
"Thank you, Allen! I love it!" She kisses his cheek.
"I'm glad." He smiles back at her.
