Seeing nothing but darkness Alec was thinking to himself "oh...This is what death is..." Just as Alec finished saying this he hears a sound but cant make it out just yet, after listening for awhile longer he make out some words saying "wake up!!" Alec says "wake up? I wish I could but I'm dead now." Just as he is finishing his thought he sees a bright light and hears the words "I tried to do it the nice way. Zap!!" As soon as zap was said the bright light got even brighter so bright it was blinding and following that Alec felt a slight tingly feeling and some pain. The bright light has died down and Alecs vision has adjusted. In the distance Alec sees a figure, upon further inspection it is his now very irate mother. Alec rubbed his eye in disbelief, but when he rubbed his eye he realized that he had a body and he was alive at that. Being completely distracted by the fact that he is alive his mother said in a chilling voice "I said get up." Alec heard those words and it sent a chill down his spin.
Looking back to his mother he had tears in his eyes not only was he some how alive but his mother is also alive. In Alecs past life he was not kind to his parents. He blamed them for him being a failure. Mainly Alec blamed his dad. His dad wasn't a mage but a knight. A knight uses martial power which is the power inside every creature on the planet. Knights train there bodies to go beyond normal physical limits. Every one can become a knight but only certain people can become a mage. To become a mage one must have enough magical power to make a special crystal glow or break. The crystals come in different colors depending on the level on magic power required. For example white is the lowest rank one needs to become a mage and it also happens to be the lowest ranked crystal out of all of them. Crimson is the highest rank every achieved and is the highest one can go but there a no more crimson level mages left.
In Alecs past life he was a silver ranked mage which is 3 levels above white rank, but he reached that level at the age of 88 two years before he died at the age of 90. Alec now wiping off his tears, he looks to his mothers eyes with a face and pair of eyes she had never see in her him and says "mother I wish to train with dad!" Alec mother thought she heard wrong but Alec said it again snapping her out of her disbelief. "Jonah! Get down here now!" Alecs mother said in a loud but sweet voice. She wasted no time in calling Alecs dad because she didn't want to give Alec any chances to back out of this. Loud hurried foot steps can be heard as Alecs father dashed down to Alecs room. "What's wrong Alice?" Alecs father said with a slightly concerned face. "Alec has something to tell you." Alecs mother said with joy. Jonah looking to Alec says "what is it son?" Alec looking his father in his eyes said "I wish to do knight training!" Alecs father was surprised at what he heard, the shock was showing on his face. His son the bookworm actually wanted to do knight training instead of read. Jonah look to his wife and she nodded with confirmation that this is not some spell. Alecs dad look back to Alec and said "are you sure you want to do this there is no going back?" Alec expecting this question replied with a quick and firm "YES!" Alecs father seeing the conviction in his son said "then we start tomorrow I hope you are ready!" Alec replied with the same firm "yes!" His father nodding his head turned around and left his room to go prepare for tomorrow.
Alecs mother before leaving his room told him that she would be in her workshop if he needed her. Now Alec is sitting on his bed thinking of what to do next realized he doesn't even know what he looks lie or what age he is currently. Jumping out of bed Alec runs to the bathroom and looks at the mirror and he sees a much younger version of himself. Going off of looks alone he looks to be around 14 years old but he isn't sure just yet. Moving on to checking out his body Alec looking at his light brown skin, his medium length snow white hair in a ponytail just hanging at the top of his back and his Golden brown eyes. After checking a few more places he confirmed that he was 14 years old. Heading back to his room his heart beating faster each step because he has yet to take the Grand Magic Academy test. To make it into the grand magic academy you need to have a magical power of at least black level which is one level above white.
Thinking about it he needs to see if he was at the white level yet but first he was going to take a shower. After Alec was done taking his shower he slaped on some clothes and ran to his mothers workshop. As ALec is running he spots the head buttler Paul. "Oh yong master where are you off to insuch a rush?" Paul Asked. "I'm off to moms workshop see ya later Paul!!" Alec said as he picked up the pace so he didn't get stopped again. After running for a few minutes longer he sees his mothers workshop and busts through the door Alec who is nearly out of breath said "mother let me take the white crystal test!" Alecs mother turns around with frightning speed and punches Alec on the noggen, then grabs him and puts him in a headlock saying "how many times must i tell you to knock!" Alec said "you never have." "HUUHHHHH!!!" Alecs mother said in a sweet but sinister tone.
ALec getting chills down his spin immediately says sorry. Alecs mom letting go of Alec saying "thats better now wait here and touch nothing." Alecs mom head down one level in to the cellar and all that can be heard is the shifing of boxs and the rumbling of many diffrent items. All the noise stops and Alecs mom walking up the stairs holding a clear white crystal. Alecs mom gives Alec the crystal and tells him to channel his magic power in to the crystal. Alec very familar with this prossess closed his eyes and focusedall his power into the crystal 1 second later.... No Actually half a second later the crystal turned bright whit and exploded. Alec and his mother and both in shock for the same reason the white crystal exploded which means Alecs magic power is much higher that white level.
Alec snaping out of it first looked to his mother and asked to keep this a secret between them. She didnt know why Alec wanted to keep it a secret but she respected he wishes. Alec mother was moved by everything that has been going on today, as a reward she told Alec she would let him go to the family libary and he could take out 2 books at the white level. Alec slightly suprised said "o-okay thank you mother!" Alec left his moms workshop and fully sprinted back to his room and shuts the door. Jumping on his bed he starts thinking, "in my past life I took the grand magic academy test and failed to even make the crystal glow and yet in half a second I made it explode, which means i'm at black level most likely. And now mom is letting me take 2 books out of the family libary, in my past life I only got to go in the family libary because mom and dad died." Alec was filled with all these thoughts. Alec thinking about these thing stated " I wont fail you this time, Iwill stand at the peak of the world and go beyond!" With fire in his eyes and a strong conviction inplace Alec needed to decied what books to uses to help him during the first part of the test. Thinking hard about it Alec thought of 2 books that had secrets left behind by the creator that will be a great help to him. After figuring out the 2 books Alec layed down in his bed and tried to fall asleep and although all these things are on his mind he ended up passing out 10mins later.
