It was hot outside. Honoka scowled in annoyance and kicked a rock. "OW!" She said, but the aggravated look on her face hadn't changed a bit. She took off her pink sneaker carefully, then took off a pink stocking. The foot looked fine, but yet she didn't know if it truly did. She growled. Pushing her dyed pink hair back, she spat at the rock.
"Minni, miss, if you don't mind my asking, but are you SURE she is magical girl material?!?!?"
asked a girl of green.
"Yes, Boh, so please calm down." Minni snapped at her. In Minni's defense, Boh had asked the same question a billion times in the past five minutes alone. Minni clenched a bright pink letter in her hand. "Kazehaya Honoka..... she is perfect."

"Hi Mother! Hello, Father!" Kokona greeted her parents. She had made sure her poofy pink dress was still the same as before, gloves fastened, stockings runless. She fixed her hair, and her makeup was still intact.
"Hello, unnie and oppa!" Kokona greeted her older sister, Kaya and her brother Okyoito.
"Hi, Kokona." Her elders chanted.
Her mother went straight back to cooking, her father held a glass of Light Burbon Whiskey in his hand whilst watching the news. Kaya's glasses glinted as she continued reading a novel on World Peace. Okyoito sat typing on his computer.
Its Just How Life Is As The Perfect Family.
We must be kind.
We must act right.
We must act like stereotypes of our gender.
We must be the upholders of the neighborhood.
It. Sucks.
"Go get the mail, pig." her father said. Ahhh. He's drunk, and angry. "Yessir." I say, and run to get the mail. A pink letter sits there, along with the bills. I'm a smart lady; I will show it to mother and Kaya, but not father nor Okyoito.
