"I will pray for your safety and await your return. Goodbye, my student. Take care of yourself, Fei Lei" Tetra said with tears in his eyes.
Tetra knew his student had comprehended a method for using the Human Transfiguration Sigil, and figured that whatever Fei Lei had planned was most likely life-threatening.
He was right. What Fei Lei had planned would either kill him or allow him to be completely reborn.
Fei Lei walked off into the distance with a sad and determined look. Once he was out of his teacher's sight, he headed deeper into the forest to gain more real-life combat experience.
By fighting the wild magical beast in their natural terrain, Fei Lei quickly grew accustomed to using the terrain to his advantage.
Days passed before he made it far enough away to reach the Eastern Empire's Borders. The place he was heading to is called the wildlands, it's part of the unexplored region near the borders of the 5 Empires.
When he arrived at the most rural of places, where tribal men and aboriginals lived in small villages.
Through conversation with these folk, Fei Lei came to know of a place where no one dared go, a place called Monster Breeding Mountain.
After a few more days of travel and avoiding danger with his sensory spell, Fei Lei found his destination and bolted to over the nearest mountain in the distant horizon.
After traveling for 4 hours without rest, he arrived in front of a massive mountainside with a three-pronged peak mountain and a large forest surrounding it.
Litters of mountain tops surrounded the distant view, but the one Fei Lei fancied was the tallest, had a river running through it, and was the most integrated with the natural foliage.
Fei Lei clapped his hands together and began using his Telekinesis to get to work on his project.
As he raised his hands, two 5-foot telekinetic hands formed around his wrists, they appeared as a nearly invisible clear vapor in the air that shifted in a glimmer only when moving.
Using the hands to empty out an opening in the mountainside, Fei Lei's clear-hands turned into blades that cut through the stone like putty. Within days he had carved out a large section through the cave that ran by the river.
Once he procured enough space, Fei Lei began carving up a nice little house, it had garden space, multiple rooms, and to top it off, he made little openings that ran through the cave ceiling so that sunlight could seep in.
Putting the finishing touches on it created a large drop door that used stone large stone gears to operate before shutting himself inside.
He sat on the carved out stone bed, and sat in the Lotus Position, he took a deep and stared at the bag full of fasting pills breath before thinking, "I sorry master, I hid a lot of things from you. Thank you for giving these to me, there should be enough to last a year." The grey gaseous Spell Sigil appeared on the surface of his forehead.
"Those fucking retards who call themselves Spell Casters are all morons, they had no idea how important this magic is. It's because of their incompetent views towards the Human Transfiguration Spell, and lack of understanding towards human anatomy, that they've failed to see the true purpose of this Sigil. This isn't just some regular old magic. Its true purpose actually gives the user 100% control over their body."
Fei Lei laughed, " For countless years back on Earth, Scientists have spent multiple lifetime pursuits, trying to advance neural sciences to the point where we gain full control over our body's functions. Yet, low and behold, my Spell Sigil will allow me to do just that."
Fei Lei took a deep breath and let out a mouth full of foul air, letting go of all his anger.
"Now the first step, making my body strong enough to handle the transition," Fei Lei said before he closed his eyes and began using his breathing exercises.
He was cycling between them when suddenly he had an idea. Fei Lei wondered what would happen if he added the many different styles he gained from his fragmented memories of Earth.
Using his level 0 spell 'Innervision' to scan his body, Fei Lei constantly monitored his condition as he applied his breathing techniques, and put their effects on his body to memory.
An entire year had passed, the bag of fasting pills had all gone, and other than to work on expanding the interior of his cave or work out, Fei Lei remained rooted in his seat.
Currently, Fei Lei was practicing a new kind of breathing technique, his body was surrounded by a strange golden glow that emanated from the surface of his skin.
Fei Lei breathed in and began causing dirt and small pebbles from the cave surface to fall from his surroundings. His eyelids then opened up showing his glittering eyes that looked one was staring into a birthing universe. The vitality around his body was so strong that it slowly rippled off of his body in waves.
Stretching out, Fei Lei began laughing before he said, "Master would be so proud of me! I fused 1.3 million different breathing techniques from Earth and merged them together with the Four Seasons breathing techniques. With all of them combined into a single ultimate breathing technique, what am I going to call it!? ... ... How about, 'Breath of the Nature Gods!' yeah, that sounds grandiose!"
Now that his attention was focused on his surroundings, Fei Lei noticed that his body was covered in a thick goo that reeked to high heaven.
He opened the cave and ran out towards the nearest running river he could find and jumped into the water. The tar-like substance was quickly swept away by the current, clearing his body from the nauseating scent once and for all.
As he swam back out of the water, Fei Lei noticed that his body was rather weak.
"I need food!" Fei Lei shouted before he jumped back into the water and started to hunt for river fish.
After catching a few and eating, Fei Lei used his spell Sigil to break down all the organic matter and transported it throughout his body, not wasting a single bit of the animal's energy or creating waste.
However, even after eating ten fish, Fei Lei was still hungry, so he figured now would be a good time to gather a large supply of food and water.
Fei Lei was going to need it, especially for what he had planned next.
He began digging out a trench with his Telekinetic hands and led it back to his cave, he then circled around his house and connecting it back to a lower part of the stream, after making a small river he moved throughout the forest in search of large prey.
Searching for a few hours, Fei Lei managed to find a pack of 12 wild One-Star Lion Boars.
"There are 9 levels of power known for the magical beast, each with a star representing the stage they're at. Certain traits can give away general assessments to the creatures' levels," Fei Lei murmured to himself.
He looked at the large 5 feet high, and 6 feet long, golden-maned Lions with boar tusk and curled tails, they were also rather large and fat. Judging from the lack of any supernatural phenomena around the creatures, they were one-star at the least, two-star at the most.
Fei Lei started to drool at them, just thinking of cooking them and chowing down on them was enough to make him happy.
Magical Beast are delicacies, well the right ones anyways, a dog beast still tastes like a dog, but if the dog beast is mixed with ones like boars and chickens, they usually tasted great regardless of its other half.
Jumping out from the bushes, Fei Lei swiftly made his move. A sudden dust cloud appeared as he used his telekinetic hands to slam two giant 5-foot chunks of earth into each other and create a giant dirt cloud.
He ran inside with a cloth covering his face and pulled out the 8-foot iron sword from his back and slashed the first Lion Boar's head off.
Learning from his lesson with the Tiger Monster, Fei Lei knew he couldn't project mana in an offensive manner and would have to rely on the weight of a very heavy weapon to cut through the flesh of his foes' thickened hide.
Fei Lei then jumped to another and repeated the process until the dust cloud cleared and only 5 remained.
"Damn, I was hoping to kill one more," Fei Lei said as he threw his sword into the ground and took up a fighting stance.
The Lion Boars seeing their falling kin were enraged as they charged him. Fei Lei jumped over and landed on the back of one of the magical beast. He wrapped his arms and legs around its neck and twisted the creature's neck around a few times.
Before its lifeless dropped and rolled across the ground, Fei Lei jumped off of it while the remaining 4 tried to lunge towards him.
While in midair, Fei Lei grabbed one by its paw and lifted him inward before kicking the monster's stomach. The creature flew into another of its kin while Fei Lei was rolling on his back towards the other.
With a surprise spring kick from the ground, Fei Lei nocked the creature's jaw up before he followed up with a spinning jump kick to the side of its face.
The force from Fei Lei's kick sent the monster flying into the last lion-boar, as the two crashed into each other, it gave him ample space to escape.
He jumped over the beast's head and used his two telekinetic hands to smash down on the creature's face crushing their skulls.
He then ran towards his sword and was chased by the remaining two who scrambled to charge towards him.
Fei Lei slowed his pace so the magic beasts would stay at a certain range, he waited for them to get close enough before he pulled his greatsword out of the ground and flipped around with a wide-open swing.
One of the beasts dodged the attack, sliding across the ground, curving around Fei Lei's swing, and putting him in a flanking maneuver with its partner.
Fei Lei grinned as if he expected this and waited for the two to charge without holding back.
As they lunged for his front and back, Fei Lei drove the sword down the front-facing magic beast's mouth with a forward thrust, while he twisted the hilt of his blade.
A clicking noise was heard as he abandoned his sword while pulling out the hilt, which was actually 6-foot long multisectioned bo-staff.
Without waiting, Fei Lei ran it down the remaining Lion Boar's throat while running the back of its spine into a tree.
The creature clawed out a couple of times barely managing to cut up Fei Lei's face at the end of the bo-staff's reach.
Confident in his victory, Fei Lei let his guard down when he pressed forward and the creature's hind legs managed to cut open a large gash across his stomach.
Fei Lei gritted his teeth and held back the pain as he twisted the staff so fast it completely warped the creature's insides severing many vital organs from their positions.
The creature coughed out a bucket of blood that splashed across Fei Lei's face and torso before it died while falling to the ground.
Fei Lei fell on his back and started panting as he said, "Freaking messed up! Got to do better next time!"
Fei Lei quickly used his Sigil to close and hold the wounds shut while he used Quick Recovery to heal them to the point of forming scabs. He then put his sword-bo-staff back together and chopped up some trees as he started to build a pulley out of some logs and vines.
Next, Fei Lei picked up the corpses and placed them on top of one another, and he made sure to tie their bodies to each other before placing them on the raft.
He then used all of his strength to slowly drag them back to the cave.
Along the way, he was attacked by a few wild beasts that were added to his pile, and by the time he had returned to his dwelling, Fei Lei had accumulated a few dozen more 1-Star Magic Beasts.
Seeing as the sun was starting to set, Fei Lei thought it wise not to waste any time. First, he started to chop up the beasts and placed their valuable materials into a fur skinned bag made from his catch.
He then washed the meet and made a wooden cooler out of a nearby tree by carving it with Telekinesis. Next, Fei Lei made a larger case and placed the smaller one inside it while he filled up the space between the two boxes with some water.
Fei Lei, then he placed his telekinetic hands in the water and started to focus.
He felt his brain starting to heat up almost to the point of boiling, a trickle of blood seeped down his nose as the water started to cool around the meat-filled case.
Fei Lei was slowing the atoms in the water by using his Telekinesis as a buffer, he was slowly cooling it down, until, bit by bit, the entire case filled up with one solid chunk of ice.
He then placed it in the center of the river and closed it before placing rocks around it so that it sunk to the river's bottom.
"Not bad for a makeshift fridge," Fei Lei said as he wiped the blood off of his face.
He then headed into the cave and started cooking up a storm, he sat down in front of a bunch of stone dishware and started chowing down, by the time he had finished he had eaten more than 5 times his body weight in meat.
His stomach was bloated as he sat down and began breaking down all the Matter inside his body.
Next, he began storing the chemicals that he needed for the next phase of his plans.
A pool of extremely refined myotein and proteins was stored inside his body as his stomach returned to normal.
He stood up and looked around, "I guess I should get started on phase one," Fei Lei thought as he began carving out the stone cave with his bare hands.
It took four months to pass before Fei Lei used up the rest of his food supply, during which he had finished excavating massive open areas and sections inside the cave.
The spot next to the river now looked like an underground castle that was fit only for Emperors and Kings. Everything was exquisitely crafted down to the final detail and the structure shared a mixed design of European Gothic and Asian Architecture.
He had cleared a tunnel to the river creating a massive gatted moat around his underground castle and even cleared a few more holes directly through the mountainside to let light in, giving the area its own uniquely beautiful scenery.
Decorating the stone surfaces on his house were depictions of mathematic wonders, creatures from legends, and popular entertainment, all of which came from Earth.
Fei Lei had carved the images into the stone because it helped him make sense of the memories rumbling around his head, kind of like a stimulus for his brain.
With his house done, Fei Lei just had to stock up on more supplies before he began the first phase of his plan, and after another intense month of hunting, Fei Lei was ready to begin his experiment.
On the day of his rebirth, in Fei Lei's courtyard, telekinetic hands that were stretching out its fingers into large tentacles could be seen moving about.
Fei Lei was using them to lift and maneuver several dumbbell-shaped stones that weighed several hundred pounds.
Fei Lei himself was wearing a full suit of bulky stone armor and running about wildly nearby.
He was currently moving acrobatically throughout a rather interesting and stressing course design that required the use of every single one of his muscles.
Fei Lei stopped after he finished going through the last lap on his free-running track, steam was rising from the inside of the armor alongside a sweat-fueled stench, Fei Lei then took a deep breath and began to move over towards his room.
When he reached his room, Fei Lei used his Telekinetic hands to remove his armor, and what came out was a beastly hulk of a man. It was as if every muscle on his body looked was trying to escape from his flesh.
Running out into his man-made river, Fei Lei took a quick and cold bath in order to cool down his body.
While he bathed he practiced his breathing art and slowly recovered his stamina, while improving his body's condition back to max.
When he opened his eyes, Fei Lei was ready as he announced, "It's time."
