As Kyuu opened his eyes a bright stream of light burned through his eyesight. Soon after his eyes adapted to the light he could see that he was laying down in the middle of a field as long as the eye can see. No trees, no mountains, just flat land with bright Kelly green grass laying across the ground. The area was peaceful and quiet with a beautiful sky nonetheless but something seemed off. Not a single place existed on the human realm nor that kyuu had ever known about a place in his mother's kingdom.
"Hello, have you come for me." Kyuu hears in a faint yet shy voice.
As kyuu turns around he sees a young girl; none that he has seen before. Kyuu jumps back in surprise then says "who are you"
"I don't have a name nor do I know why I am here. Do you know why?" She replied in a shy voice as she looked away from Kyuu.
"Sadly I don't even know why I'm here," Kyuu replied as he tried to look for something different other than flat ground.
As Kyuu got a better look at the young girl he sees that she has long streamy hair starting with a cerise pink fading into a boysenberry purple at the tips of her long hair. She had an innocent look in her cerulean blue eyes as she looked up at Kyuu. As Kyuu looked down onto her he could see that she wore a family crest with a heart-shaped piece of ruby in the middle of it.
"Do you have a name?" The young girl asked Kyuu while avoiding eye contact.
"Hmm, yeah; my name is Kyuu but what am I meant to call you?" Kyuu replied back as he looked at the girl in confusion.
"I don't know, why don't you give me a name?" The young girl said as she sent a large, gleeful smile in Kyuu's direction.
"I can't name someone and I don't even know anything about you. Do you have any recollection to whom you may be?" Kyuu replied as he got more confused.
"I have nothing, I have my personality but that's all I have." She said as she looked up at Kyuu with a sad look not knowing anything about herself.
"Do you at least know what species you are then?" Kyuu asked trying to get all possible information out of her to come up with a decent name.
"Oh, of course, I know what species I am. I'm a dragon but I don't know why I look like a human." She replied with a burst of relief.
"Lack of magic maybe," Kyuu replied as thought about why she looked like a human if she was a dragon.
"Maybe" she replied with a sigh of despair.
"ah, I know a name. Why don't I call you to echo for now? That's the name of the dragon princess 576 years ago." Kyuu replied hoping she wouldn't hate the name.
"I think that's a great name. But I don't know that was the name of the dragon princess 576 years ago. I probably did but I have no memories of what I have learned. I only know basic knowledge so I wouldn't be much help." She replied with a smile on her face looking up at Kyuu.
{"Wake up Kyuu"}
"Hmm who said that?" Kyuu asks in surprise.
"What do you mean Kyuu? No one said anything." Echo announced as she grabbed Kyuu's shoulder.
{"I know you can hear me. Wake up already"}
As Kyuu looked back at Echo it seemed like she was getting further away. The surroundings faded to darkness, just like before, and the weather changed to a stormy night. The wind struck Kyuu and the world around him crumbled to a twilight leaving nothing.
"Hmm, where am I?" Kyuu said as he looked up to see a large room.
The large room had a bed, a massive wardrobe, and a table with two chairs. The room was large enough to have two windows line by line but it was so empty.
Kyuu woke up in a bed that wasn't his own and it was silent. Not a sound, not a movement, nothing. Nothing but emptiness and dim light.
"Kyuu is that you? Are you actually awake now my love?" Silvia announced as she crawled out from under Kyuu's blanket.
"Ahh, what are you doing in my bed?" Kyuu screamed he leapt out of the bed.
"I was keeping your body warm. Is that a problem my love?" Silvia replied in a cheeky tone while grinning at Kyuu
"You're really pushing it. Did something happen while I was out?" Kyuu asked with a face of confusion.
"Not really but I did have a lot of fun," Silvia replied with an even bigger grin on her face.
"How long was I out for?" Kyuu asked Silvia with a face of concern.
"You were out for a day and a half. Do you understand how worried I have been?" Silvia replied as started screaming at Kyuu while she grabbed him and starting crying into his chest, not letting him have a second thought.
"it's alright, I'm awake now. You don't need to cry. I got you." Kyuu said as he wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her.
"No, it's not alright. I thought I may have never seen you again." Silvia retaliated as she screamed into Kyuu's chest with her voice being muffled.
"Don't worry, I'm here now. That's all that matters okay. Just stop crying." Kyuu replied as he slightly tightened his grip around her.
"Are you sure your okay. Are you not feeling any pain from the fall?" Silvia asked as she looked up at Kyuu with her eyes filled with tears.
"Yes, I'm fine no pain at all," Kyuu replied as he looked down on her.
"I think you lying to me," Silvia said as she reached up to touch Kyuu's head.
When Silvia managed to touch Kyuu's head Kyuu exclaimed an aggravating groan of pain.
"See, I said you were lying to me," Silvia said as she laid him down onto the bed.
"You really don't need to do this for me." Kyuu expressed as he got onto the bed.
"You need to get some more rest okay. I won't be happy if I find you not in this bed." Silvia expressed as she tried to scold Kyuu.
"I'm fine, but as your telling me to lie down; I guess I have no choice then," Kyuu said as he looked up at Silvia with a smile.
"I have a better idea," Silvia whispered into Kyuu's ear.
"Oh really, what could that be then," Kyuu replied with a smirk on his face.
As Silvia moved onto the bed she whispered into Kyuu's ear "why don't I sleep with you, my love"
