The next following months for Wesley Kang was like paradise.
He would follow around Ivy when they were inside the campus.
To the library, cafeteria, to the park. Wherever she goes he will be with her.
Like a puppy obediently following his master.
Ivy didn't mind him tagging along. He hadn't done anything harmful to her.
In fact she had gotten somewhat used to him being around.
Sometimes they would talk about random things when they were eating. Read books together, shared music with each other.
Do the things normal friends do.
She had accepted him as her friend. And she realized that having someone to talk to wasn't really that bad.
Since he was spending his time with Ivy, he had never engaged to fights and had stopped coming to the ladies dorm to pick up girls.
Ethan would tag along with them sometimes when he was bored just to see how his friend looks like an idiot following Ivy around.
Seeing his friend being a love fool somewhat entertains him.
When they have free time Wesley would invite her to the firing range and they would challenge each other with who will get the highest score.
Of course Ivy would always win.
Wesley Kang was very thankful to his forefathers and ancestors that they choose ammunition and firearm industry as their line of business.
Atleast he have a reason to be with her even during off campus.
Wesley Kang was one year ahead of Ivy and their graduation was just right around the corner.
He was a child prodigy since he was young, and he was just waiting for his time to graduate that time.
But he still wanted to be with her. He wanted to extend the time he spend with his beloved Ivy Chang.
So he threatened all his professors to fail him.
When his father learned about his crazy antics he almost disowned his one and only heir.
The new school year started and to everyone's surprise, Wesley Kang was still in the university.
He had repeated a year just to be with Ivy.
He wanted for her to spend the remaining days of her college life with him.
To make more memories with her. He was being pathetic and foolish but he doesn't really care.
As long as he's with her then that's enough.
Ivy was aware how he really felt about her even if he was denying and hiding it.
She could feel his outmost care and his special treatment to her.
She was thinking of giving their relationship a chance to bloom into a romantic kind.
But then she realized that it would really be unfair to him if she do that.
She tried so hard to see him more than just a friend but her heart just won't budge.
She was feeling guilty enough that he had to repeat a year just for her.
Giving him false hope was something that she wouldn't do.
