She shyly laughed as if Grandma Lin is still with her. She could imagine Gradma Lin will give her a knowing look if she's still alive.
Grandma Lin is a huge fan of teenage romance dramas and she knows she will be their number one shipper.
"Grandma, thanks for trusting my words back then. If it weren't for you he wouldn't be with me now. Thank you for always taking care of me."
She added then she placed the chrysanthemum inside the niche. Andy had told them about what happened before he rescued Ian.
He said it was her mom who believe in the story of a mere child.
He reckoned that if it was him that Tia had ask for help first, he would just ignore her and take it as her just playing around.
Ian respectfully bow and introduced himself to Grandma Lin.
"Ms Lin, pleasure to finally meet you. My name is Ian Lee and I assure you that I will continue to take care of Tia in your stead. And I would like to personally Thank you for saving me back then."
Tia smiled and rubbed Ian's back. Ian was trembling as he speak and her hands gently soothes and calms his nerves down.
She knows that he's feeling anxious about not being able to thank them before. It's the same when they were with her brother Andy.
"Honey, you don't have to be uptight, it's okay. We're just glad that you're alive and well now."
She softly said to him. Ian looked at her and the worry and uneasiness in his eyes disappeared.
"I know, it's just that I really regretted that I couldn't thank them from before. I owe alot of things to all of you. Especially you."
He cupped Tia's cheeks and kissed her soft lips.
"Hey, what are you doing? Grandma Lin is looking."
Tia jokingly said as she pushed Ian lightly away from her.
"Grandma Lin wouldn't mind."
"..."
Ian replied then tightly hugged her. They bid farewell to Grandma Lin then went out of the building.
On their way out, Tia bumped into a handsome man going inside the building.
The man is tall, and he wears a silver framed spectacles and a black tailored suit and his expression is aloof and reserved similar to Ian. He looks smart and well refined.
Tia immediately recognised him and she was petrified on the spot. Ian noticed the change in her expression so he asked her.
"What's wrong?"
Tia didn't respond and continued to look in a daze. Her eyes were wide from shock and cold sweat trickled down her forehead.
Ian nudged her again and she was pulled out of her trance.
"Are you alright?" He nervously asked her.
"Yep, It's nothing. I just remembered something. I'm starving let's eat on the way back. "
She said then looked back at the man who was walking inside slowly vanishing from her sight.
