Walking out of the city gates of East Sea City with Bao'er beside me, I sighed. For us to arrive at the Raging Sky Tournament we'll need to reach Frozen Mist City. The only issue with that though is transportation. Though I could rely on using the Sword Control Technique to fly over there, it'll be hard for me to pass the thick mist surrounding the city.
Without the use of the Extreme Yang Pill, it'll be incredibly difficult. But I don't even possess a Pill Flame capable of forging such an advanced pill.
"Young Master, what's wrong?" Seeing my annoyed expression, Bao'er couldn't help but feel troubled.
"Nothing, I just needed to think about something." Waving my hand, I summoned my broadsword from my storage ring. "For now let's go." Using the Sword Control Technique to expand the size of the sword, I stepped on the base of the sword as it began to hover.
"Young Master, what sort of technique is this? I thought only Martial Emperors were capable of flight?" Confused, Bao'er could only stare at the sword in awe.
"Only Martial Emperor's can fly?" I said somewhat bewildered. "Whoever told you that must be foolish! The technique I'm using is the Sword Control Technique, it's incredibly simple. So simple that even a normal person could use it if they relied on Qi Boosting Pills." I said.
"Amazing..." Somewhat surprised, Bao'er stepped onto the sword. "Young Master, can you teach me how to cultivate?" Bao'er asked.
"Of course, but first let's head to the closest city, we can't necessarily reach Frozen Mist City as we are now so we must make a few preparations before." Starting off this new adventure, I poured a decent amount of Qi within the sword and began moving as fast as I could.
"To think East Sea City would look so beautiful from up here." Riding just below the clouds, we saw a beautiful sight of the place we used to call home.
...
It was a calm day in East Sea City, the menace of the town known for his childish antics had finally left with his maidservant in tow. Man people rejoiced at this fact, but would soon regret it after they discover the parting gift he had left them.
Entering his treasury in preparation for his breakthrough to the Martial Emperor Realm, Wu Tiancheng the patriarch for the Wu Family was shocked to discover that most of his resources were stolen.
"Damn it!" He roared in anger. "Who dares steal from me!" Releasing a dense killing intent throughout an imbalance of Yin and Yang was created within his body. Though this wasn't much to the ordinary cultivator, due to his cultivation law requiring for a perfect balance, his rage led to a drastic setback.
With his balance now destroyed the Qi within his body began going into disarray, destroying both his Dantian and withering his meridians.
As people rushed to discover what had occurred, many were shocked to discover that Wu Tiancheng had gotten so angry he crippled himself.
