"Go away."
"I just want to talk- you've been ignoring me since the party."
"Elliot just drop it. Go away."
"You're my fucking girlfriend I'm not just going to leave you, I finally have you cornered."
I didn't respond to that.
That party was a disaster to say the least.
"Lila... babe I just want to talk. I want to know what's wrong. You've ignored me for three weeks now."
Ugh.
I opened the stall door. He stood there looking like shit. He had bags under his eyes. I hadn't seen that on Elliot before. He hadn't washed his hair in ages, it was usually blonde. I walked passed him, ignoring the saddened look he gave me and went to the basins to wash my hands.
"You haven't been sleeping." They were my first words.
"Hah... what makes you think that?" Sarcasm.
I dried my hands.
"Hows Xavier." Xavier is Elliot's fraternal twin. We used to be friends.
"I don't know why you're asking, but he's fine. How's Anna?"
"She tripped over lastnight and hit her head on my coffee table. She's in hospital."
"Not... what I expected. Send her my regards."
"Will do. Now are we done here?"
"What- no-"
"Nice talking to you Elliot." I stepped towards the door and left the bathroom.
I walked over to the bench Cameron was sitting on, still eating his burger. In facing Cam I could see the girls bathroom door open wide. Elliot looked at me. I looked away. He walked away.
It was so much easier when it was just me and Anna.
Then Cameron joined us. I don't know why.
Then Xavier. Followed by Elliot whom shortly after revealed he had feelings for me.
Then Christina.
Then Daniel.
I didn't bother staying after that encounter. Cameron disregarded me when the bell rang. I don't think he knew I was even there to be honest. I walked home.
Elliot was at my bloody doorstep.
