Chapter 72 - Valentine's Special (Part Two)

Standing straightly with such arrogance and confidence, the scarlet color from the sunset bounce on his olive skin, creating a beautiful contrast, and his blue eyes stares deeply right into her violet ones, it was so deep that Aisha felt he was penetrating her soul.

Aisha had seen numerous handsome men in her life but all of them pale in comparison to the man in front of her.

So beautiful. So domineering. And so dangerous.

Aisha subconsciously took a step back away when the man make one step closer to her. The man stop and he had a thoughtful look on his face. Aisha shifted in her position, and gathered herself as she stared bravely at the man.

"I asked you, who are you?" Aisha repeated her question, emphasizing each words. Aisha had her guard up, one hand was at the back of her denim pants, gripping her dagger in her palm.

"You... don't know me?" Aisha had a hard time processing if he said this as a statement or as a question because of how flat his tone are.

Aisha squinted her eyes as she observe the man's facial features. Indeed, he is a bit familiar. Some part of his face is similar to her Uncle, Rafael Cavelli.

Thinking about this, Aisha's eyes flash with clarity, though she dare not to lower her guard, especially since he's one of the few man that manage to agitated her. "You are Rafael's eldest son."

The man was silent hearing this, his jaw clenches and there was an obvious dent in his cheek, giving Aisha the impression that he bit the inside of his cheek.

It seems that this man really harbor grudge towards his own Father. Aisha didn't know the real story behind Rafael's illegitimate son, and his Mother, and Aisha isn't the type to gossip about it, or simply she just didn't care.

Though, there was still unsettle feeling in her heart. What it is, that she didn't know but her instinct told her that she've known him somewhere. Aisha had a retentive memory, if she really had met him, she wouldn't easily forget him, but she can't recall any situation where she had met him.

Aisha frowned, she didn't like this feeling of not knowing the answer to the questions in her heart. And then her phone buzz, it was a message from her Father, it was a reminder of her about the assasination of a wealthy businessman who partakes in the operation of prostitution.

Aisha returned her phone into her pant's pocket, her eyes glancing briefly at the man before walking towards his direction. As Aisha walks passed him, the back of their hands briefly touch each other, sending the two of them a slight electric current from the simple touch.

Aisha lifted her brows in confusion, but she didn't dwell much on it and leaves the garden.

The man turns around and gaze at the back of the woman, her figure slowly becoming smaller as she walks. The man clenches his fists as he stares longingly at Aisha.

Later that night.

Aisha opens the door to her room, groaning silently as the foul smell of blood irritates her nostrils. She saw Misty lying on the huge white bluish carpet on her bedroom and mutter a soft "I'm back."

She took a quick shower, her stomach rumbling because of not eating dinner. Aisha was famished but she was tired as hèll, she didn't suffer any injuries from the assasination, however, the injuries she got from her Father was starting to ache uncontrollably. She was about to go to her bed when she noticed something on the coffee table on her patio.

She wrapped herself in a satin robe before going out to her patio. She saw a white box with red lace ribbon. Aisha look at Misty in the room, and then to the box. She was thinking that it must be Freohr who put it here because if it's somebody else then Misty would already kill it.

She pulls the lace, and then opens the box. Her eyes shone as her expression turns complicated.

It was a heart shaped White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake.

Aisha slowly removed the cheesecake from the box, she sit on the chair as her eyes glaze from nostalgia as memories suddenly came rushing towards her.

It was a distant memory from her former self, when everything was still on the right track.
