Tom didn't even move even after hearing Aisha's words. He just lay there and stare at the ceiling. And if there's one thing about Aisha, it was she hated it when people ignore her.
Aisha pulls the trigger. The loud "bang" echoes around the house.
Alfred wipes the sweat in his forehead as he reveal a helpless look. Young Lady, the man just woke up and what awaited him was his wife's betrayal and his paralyzed legs, it's only normal to be distraught a little. However, Alfred didn't have the courage to say it, and only stare at the hole above Tom's head.
Alfred didn't recognize the gun's look so that made him think that it was personalize, just like his Young Lady's, but he was confused. Who is the owner of the gun?
From what he know, Freohr was good at hand-to-hand combat and using swords/katanas. Freohr wasn't skilled in long range battle so it was impossible to say that the gun belongs to Freohr.
And if it is, why would Aisha use Freohr's gun? With the betrayals of the Cavelli famiglia, everything they did felt like a trap.
"I don't have all day, Tom," Aisha was tick off by Tom's response, or lack thereof. "I could kill you in this instance and join my Father in the after life."
Aisha smirks as she notice Tom's body flinch. After awhile, Tom look at Aisha, his eyes are burning from rage.
"Who among the Cavelli killed Morano?"
Tom's voice was low and filled with anger, the same tone he uses back in the cold cellar.
Aisha inwardly smile, and answer with a voice that is more vicious than him, "It was Rafael Cavelli himself."
*Bang*
Tom punches the drawer beside him, succesfully destroying it. Tom felt pain in his ribcage and hand but he could careless about it. He was mad, furious even. For him, Morano was the only one who shows him kindness in this fück up world, and he always sees Morano as his Father.
"I'm going to kill him," Tom swore through gritted teeth. "The Cavelli famiglia, they will be perished!"
"That is my line," Aisha frowns but she lowers her hand with a gun. "Your answer." Aisha demanded, she still have to make sure if Tom is an ally or not.
Tom glares at the indifferent woman in front of him, her features was stern and cold. She looks nothing like Morano except for the aura she always has. A kind of aura that will make the enemies feel fear and the allies to feel safe.
Tom gritted his teeth, his knuckles are clenched as he fell into his thoughts. Even though Aisha did send an order to assinate his wife, if he found out what his wife did, how she betrays him and lie to him about their child, he would have to kill her himself.
"I'll do whatever you want me to do. I'll help you to bring the Cavelli famiglia to their graves."
Feeling satisfied, Aisha let Alfred to brief Tom about what happened tonight.
"Rafael was beaten badly that resulted him for being disabled?" Tom utter in complete shock.
Although, Tom was surprised, he feel disappointed at the news. Even though Rafael deserves it and it was much better than death itself, it was not him or Aisha who did that.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend[1] fits the situation, however, both Aisha and Tom feel disatisfied with it. Rafael must suffer greatly from their hands.
"It can't be help, Rafael must've offended someone in the Lumière famiglia."
"Are you sure that those guys are from the Lumière famiglia?" There hasn't enough proof except that those men are much stronger than the De La Torre forces, so it was understandable why Tom was feeling skeptic.
"Alfred." Aisha calls and Alfred give his tablet to Tom, it contains photos of the anonymous men during the fight.
"This is..." Tom's expression turned ugly.
It was indeed the Lumière famiglia. "The crest in their clothes are indeed from the Lumière famiglia's main family. And this man," Tom pointed to a silver haired man, although half of his face was covered, Tom recognize him for he almost died fighting that man years ago. "He is Nicholas Ambert."
Aisha sighs in frustration, if it's just some famiglia under the Lumière famiglia then the De La Torre famiglia can still handle them but if it's the main family...
The main family of the Lumière famiglia is the strongest of all mafiasi. They already prove themselves to be ruthless.
"Alfred, let's go."
Back in the Rauce famiglia.
"Please, have mercy!" A man pleaded as the demon walks towards him. He's trapped. He has no where to go.
The Boss of the Lumière famiglia stops, his eyes narrowing, and suddenly, he punched the room right next to him. He saw a man trying to hide by squeezing himself further into the small room.
It was the Boss of the Rauce famiglia.
"No! Please, we already know our mistake! Please forgive us!" The Boss of the Rauce famiglia cries, his eyes wide as he stare at the demon in front of him.
That eyes that void any light in them, his murderous look, and the fresh blood dripping on his clothes...
The Boss of the Rauce famiglia suddenly feels his head was being held in a tight grip. He suddenly realize that the demon manage to close the distance between them and is crushing his skull with his grip.
The Boss of the Lumière famiglia, who was said to be a demon, hurl the man he held across the room.
"Ack!" Blood ooze his head as he felt his bones cracks, his eyes blurs as he cries and pleads to the man approaching him.
The demon clamp his hand towards the man's chest, where his heart laid, the man screams as he felt the demon's nails pierced right through his skin.
Demon! This guy is no human! He's a devil! A monster!
The other man was trembling in fear as he watch the scene before him. He saw how his Boss struggles for his life but the demon before him shows no mercy as he punch his Boss head with such force that the wall where his Boss was leaning cracks.
It's over, the man cries as his trembling intensifies, I'm going to die. I'm going to die. I'm going to die.
His Boss fell into the bloodied floor with a soft thud. His unrecognizable face was staring right into the man.
The Boss of the Lumière famiglia walks towards him. His slow steps only make the man even more nervous and afraid.
The demon stops in front of him as the man felt suffocated at the one step distance between him and death.
"Congratulations, you're the last man left."
[1] The enemy of my enemy is my friend is an ancient proverb which suggests that two opposing parties can or should work together against a common enemy.
