---Andrew Patterson---
I jolt him down as his back falls down the ground. He groaned in massive pain that I and the ground gave to him. I know, dude. It hurt a lot too when dad first used it to me. I helped him to pull up.
"Dude, you need a lot of physical training. Not just screwing up on girls." I told Masen, Marissa's brother. He grimaced on what I said about screwing girls. I know that he screw girls a lot.
"Don't be too soft on him, Andrew," Dad told. "That is not what I taught you." How did dad manage to be aggressive in these kinds of things? Masen looked terror when my father said it. I told him again a few basics about combat attack and defense.
After the sweaty-tiring combat training, I had finally got a chance to sit under the tree and feel the breeze of the fresh wind passing through. Sometimes, I thought of my baby sister. I just wished that she's alive. I just wished that she's with Nick. Nick promised me to protect her and if ever I get into their world and had known that she's gone, I will peel him off alive.
"I need to go back to the Academy. If I didn't show up they will probably question my absence." My brother told me. I just nod and yawns. "She's fine. I got a message that she's with Nick." I finally looked into his eyes and breathed. That was a big relief. However, some negative thoughts keep on getting inside my head. She's still in danger though. "Every one of us is in danger, Andrew. I will go now."
Wow, my brother is a psychic. Every one of us seems like a psychic but to be cooler to think, we are peculiar and simply living like normal. He just sighed and about to chuckled because he had read my mind again. He walked off to go back to that academy.
I had thought that I have to visit the academy sometimes and asked what they are doing. I don't know when will they attack Marissa's house but Patrick had predicted it. Executions for my sister is still bothering me. Though she's not my blood, I still love her, as my sister.
"Here," I open my eyes to see Mrs. Gregory, Marissa's mother. I took the lemonade that has few ice cubes. I take a sip and love the refreshing chill on my throat. "I'm sorry about my son."
"Yeah, no problem Mrs. Gregory. Masen needs combat training. Not only for his family but also for himself. As we all know that King Elliot knew where you live and he could demand his men to get you or Marissa anytime."
"Patrick might love my daughter that much."
"He did. At first, he just pretends that he wasn't in love. My brother is good at pretending that much."
Patrick is my idol. He's a man that never shows his weakness. Though he's afraid he stayed strong for us. He suffered a lot these years when we lost our sister but he never shows any sign of deep depression for me to survive and for my family. Those who love my sister always survived because of him who never give up. I was the one who's weak though I am the oldest.
I decided to stand and drank all the lemonade and I gave her the glass back. She smiled at me. After a few moments, I taught Masen how to handle a bow and arrow. Nick is really good in archer and Masen told me that Nick taught him basics so it wasn't that bad for him to get the bull's eye but somehow, it is just luck.
On our dinner together with Marissa's family on their lawn on the house was quite good. However, Patrick stays in the academy and it was for a week. Marissa will miss him and I guess that it was nonstop calling. It gives me goosebumps whenever I hear them talking too sweet and too flirty at each other. Maybe because I am not used to seeing my brother flirting.
I decided to run at six in the morning throughout the woods. I stop for a while when I saw a person in a white cloak. I didn't make any sound and hid on the big three. My heart is still pounding from my running. She's looking around like she lost her way. When she turned sideways, I can see how beautiful her face is. She got a very beautiful nose shape. She gently lifts her hand and a green butterfly perch on her knuckle.
She got this tiara and green stone is in the middle. It shines through the sunlight. It relaxes me by just watching her. I still don't know if I am still sleeping and this is a dream but if ever that this is a dream, I decided not to wake up. She might have noticed my presence so I push back my head for her not to see me. My heart suddenly races and my mother's voice echoes in the forest calling my name. When I peek on her again, she's gone.
It disappointed me much that she's gone. I groan in disappointment and run back to our house. I saw my mom who is waiting for me.
"Good morning mom." I smiled at her charmingly.
"Oh, my charming son. Hurry up, we need to go back to their house." I nod and job towards my room and ready a warm bath.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror while drying myself. The beautiful girl in the forest keeps visiting my mind. I bet that she's not from our world but I don't care. If I come to visit Nick's world where we can enter because we are one of them, I will come and find her. She might be a Princess so it would be a little easy for me to find her. I will seek the five kingdoms.
"Drew! Come down now. I had ready your cereal."
"Just a minute mom."
I get down and took my cereal bowl. I drank water and then started eating it all. My mom rubbed my back and told me to slow down.
"Am I a burden to you mom?" I asked out of the blue. She grimaced on my question. "Because, you know, you are still taking care of me giving me money because I don't have. While Patrick works for us." My dad smacked my head and I laugh while rubbing it.
"Don't ask stupid questions. You are going to work in the house instead."
"Sure." I laugh. "But with an allowance."
"You always got allowances from your brother." My mom said.
"Patrick will stop giving me an allowance. Since Marissa is pregnant."
"Yeah, so get a life." My father tossed me a bottle of fresh pure orange juice that he just squeezes.
"I will. My siblings will have their own family and I am still stuck in being single." I shook my head on the idea and swig the bottle.
"Stop talking nonsense, Drew. We have a war to get ready."
I wanted to talk to them about the girl that I saw a while ago. I am sure that it wasn't a hallucination. When we get to Marissa's house not that too far from our house, Masen is already having a good time getting fit. He's pushing up with few blocks on his back.
"That's right, dude. You're getting sexy." I told him with winked and he falls his face down the ground. I laugh and told him to get up and continue pushing up. "I am not gay so don't worry. I have no interest in you." I walk towards Marissa and gave her a warm hug. She's like my baby sister too. But, Patrick impregnates her… and it sounds awful that my brother impregnates my sister. However, no blood relation.
"You are getting prettier," I told her. She only laughs at me.
"Go get a girl." She told me.
The training goes on. Marissa's father is also doing well on swords and few defense and attacks that my father is teaching. However, my father told me that it will take time and days to be a good fighter. Good thing that he taught me and Patrick how to fight well.
I was demanded by Marissa to go downtown to buy foods that she wanted to eat. I exhaustedly sigh and just do what she wanted since Patrick is giving me an allowance and increase it in thirty percent just to buy things that Marissa wanted while he's gone.
