Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Mei Hui is not her name, well, as least it's not this body's name. This body is named Chu Hai, who died when the country was struck by an epidemic, though not many were affected, it killed those who contracted it.

This body was one of those, none of the servants were able to tell that Chu Hai contracted the disease before she died at the age of twelve and Mei Hui took over her body.

Mei Hui came from a similar world, that being that it was a cultivation world. But different in the sense that it had a slightly different type of cultivation, and mortals were more progressive facing the pressure of immortals, and thrived more. Creating digital technologies and learning ways to make up for their shortcomings, such as traveling long distances in short times. Cultivators slowly dying out as the Qi of the world grew thinner. Talents capable of becoming cultivators harder to tell and more powerful cultivators staying secret to mortals. Making mortals slowly begin to become ignorant of them.

Mei Hui was a rogue cultivator, always a loner and never cared about finding a sect. She was a genius, had only lived to a few centuries and became a top powerhouse. Unfortunately because of a complication with her cultivation technique and the world's Qi being to low, during one of her vulnerable periods she encountered a foe, managing to destroy them but also herself in the process.

She was surprised to wake up in a new body, and a new world at that. But enthusiastic, the world's Qi abundant and the body's physique capable or preforming her cultivation – even more than her original body!

It has been four years since she has transmigrated, and thankfully the body's family doesn't care much for her, allowing her freedom to accomplish a lot. She has already become a Shi Peak Master, comparable to a middle-stage Gold Core cultivator.

Mei Hui's unique cultivation is different from the people of this world in the way that while they usually have one or two elements that they are suited for. While her cultivation allows her to use all elements at ease, and a little more.

Mei Hui sighs, thinking of a way to get out of the marriage. If only this was her old world, no family, and no arranged marriage to hold her down.
