Chapter 3 - Replaced

Cara three her backpack on the bed mother had gone out for groceries and candy. They both loved candy. And that damn clock was ticking again.

' TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TOC. ' It made Cara's mind go crazy. Stupid ticking stupid tocing. She scowled as she entered the room where the clock was.

But there was only a mirror and in the mirror was the clock. What the flying f*#k! Cara whipped around d to see the door but no clock. It was still ticking. Cara shivered and looked back at the mirror. She Realized she was trying to scream but it was more of a low moan of terror. She stared at the mirror. In the very back of the mirrors reflection there was a smudge. Something wrong. A person, they had black hair and pale skin with a long and torn gray dress. It had beautiful embroidery on it. The thing took a step forward. The clock ticked wildly.

'TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK ' No more tocs just sped up ticks. Cara moaned louder. She tried to throw the mirror over. A deadly smirk came on the girls face. It giggle rose in it throat. It hurt Cara's ears to hear the gurgles of her giggle. She felt warm hands on her shoulders. She tried to throw it away but it slipped her feet from her. She fell to the ground on her knees. Staring at the mirror she could she the dark do her on her shoulders. She moved her head to try to see it but another hand came and pushed it back in position staring at the mirror. She saw a little peek of the girls face. The girl behind her holding her there. Liquid eyes of black and hell. A face so black it was hard tinder it's eyes from its face. She screamed. The moans where gone replaced by terrible screams. She began to hyperventilate.

" Shush, my child. Shush just look in the mirror." A dead, gurgling voice said in her ear. Cara saw the now of the 'Girls' face Rotten patches of skin and a swirling ugly brain in her broken skull. She began to cry, scream and hyperventilate. It was a terrible sound. " Sleep now child. Sleep. " The girl said behind her. But before Cara's mind left she saw the girl in the mirror by the clock was not a crazy ghost but herself staring at her and laughing.
