Jeremy saved the document he just edited. He stretched his arms and cracked his neck. He stood up and walked to the gym.
He leaned against the wall and smiled seeing Ryn was still running on the treadmill. Her eyes were on the big television hanging on the wall.
Both Mika and Ryn have the same hobby; watching movies while exercising, hence he put the television there. He also had the MP3 player there just in case the girls wanted to listen to music.
For him, he did not need to watch a movie or listen to music. He focussed solely on the exercise.
He returned to his room to change into his exercise clothes. Then he went into the gym. Might as well exercising with her.
He did a quick warm-up and stepped onto the second treadmill, next to Ryn.
"You've finished work?" she asked without stopping.
"Hmm…"
Both kept quiet, focussing on their exercise.
She changed to the biking exercise for fifteen minutes. Then, she used to big gym ball and the weight. Lastly, she cooled down.
"What do you want to eat?" she asked once she was done.
"I don't mind."
She used the small towel to wipe the sweat. She walked to the kitchen, still using the towel with one hand and another holding a big bottle of water.
Mika was not here with them. She was still at the office, working hard. Then Jason would bring her out for a date.
Ryn checked the kitchen and sighed a bit. There was nothing in the kitchen. Mika did not cook that much and Jeremy just ate whatever Mika prepared without complaint but mostly they ate outside.
Such a waste of money.
"What's wrong?" Jeremy asked when he saw her standing at the kitchen.
"There is nothing to cook," Ryn told him seriously.
"Then we just go to the restaurant."
Jeremy did not think it as a problem at all.
"Restaurant? J, you still seriously need a grocery shopping to do. There is not even your favourite milk or Mika's chocolate milk powder."
"Then we can go after the meal. I'll change my clothes first. You can fresh up in the guest room. You can borrow Mika's clothes. She won't mind."
Before Ryn could say no, Jeremy jogged upstairs to get ready. Ryn sighed. She followed behind and went into the guest room to freshen up.
They took his black Hummer despite of her groan and mutter. His excuse was they could fit a lot for their grocery at the back. So what else could she say?
They arrived at the shopping complex closer to his place. They found an empty space quite near the entrance. He opened the door for her.
"We eat first before we do the grocery shopping. Do you need to do one too?" looking at her face, he could guess it was a grocery shopping day for her too.
Her shoulders slumped down. So he guessed right.
He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed the top of her head without warning. He heard her gasp but it only made him more determined.
They found a restaurant. He told the waiter to get them to a private seat for them. She did not even notice when a lot of people were looking at them. She must be so hungry to even care.
They ordered what they wanted and the waiter finally left them alone. She looked at her phone and frowned.
"What's wrong?"
"I haven't upload a picture for my IG account," she murmured.
"You can take a photo of your food later. I'll help."
She didn't say anything more. He took it as her agreement. He smiled.
Things looked better and better.
The waiter sent their drink first. Instead of drink it, Ryn put it aside for the sake of the IG photo. Things to do for her job.
He took the chance to take a picture of her. It would be his phone's background display.
Their food finally arrived. Jeremy helped adjusting the position before took few pictures of the food and Ryn. Being a model made it easy for her to pose. When he checked the pictures back, it actually made him hungry. His Ryn was such a good talented model.
They enjoyed their meal quietly. Jeremy wanted to say something, just anything, but seeing how focussed Ryn was eating her food, he cancelled his idea.
They still had time.
"Maybe we need to take two trolley. I need to buy grocery for my house too," Ryn murmured when they were getting closer to the supermarket.
"Do you need to buy a lot?"
"Not really. Just things for a month worth meal."
"Then a trolley is enough. I don't think my place needs a lot of things," he decided.
She took a trolley but he took it from her. She shrugged and walked into the supermarket. He followed behind.
They went to the drink section first. Jeremy took a carton of his favourite alcoholic drink. Then, he helped Ryn taking the carton of Mika's favourite drink. He also took a few bottles of champagne and red wine. They went to the dairy section. Ryn did not even have to ask what Jeremy preferred for his drink or food. She simply took his favourite and placed them into the trolley. She also took her favourite and placed them into the small section of the trolley.
People who were looking at them would think they were husband and wife with none even talked about what they wanted. Ryn simply took the things that grabbed her attention and threw them into the trolley with Jeremy following behind obediently.
They were finally done with the grocery shopping and now they were quieting to pay the things they took.
Jeremy arranged everything to be scanned by the girl at the counter. Ryn watched carefully for each item. She separated his things and hers, especially when he tried to dump everything as one.
He handed his credit card to pay. Then the girl started to scan Ryn's items. When Ryn wanted to pay, Jeremy quickly handed his card.
"J!"
"I'll pay. Your things are not that much."
Jeremy winked at the girl and she blushed hotly.
"Excuse… excuse me. Can I take a picture with you?" the girl asked shyly.
"Yeah, sure." Jeremy stepped forward to take a picture with the cashier.
Ryn stepped backward to avoid being in the picture. She checked her IG and smiled slightly seeing so many likes for the food photo she just uploaded just now.
However, the comment given by Mika made her chuckle; "Why didn't you bring me along to eat that?"
Then, another question made her stiffened.
"Who are you lunching with? Is it Jeremy?"
