He planned to only press a light kiss against her lips but when their lips touched together, he automatically tried to deepen the kiss.
Her soft moan made it even harder to pull himself. Without even thinking, he untied her ponytail, loving whenever she let her hair free. He loved the look especially when she was busy cooking food for him.
"What are you doing?" she asked breathlessly when she finally managed to push him away. Her right hand covered her lips. Her cheeks reddened.
He licked his lips. He loved seeing her cheeks turned red. Regardless of how she kept pushing him away, her reaction showed clearly how he was still in her heart.
So why should he give up when her heart, whether she realized it or not, still belonged to him.
"Jeremy!"
He blinked. Why would she raise her voice at him?
"I don't care anymore. I'm going home," she tried to open the door but it was locked. She turned and glared at him.
"Ryn, my love, please calm down."
"What to calm down? I'm calm right now."
He tried to touch her cheek but she pushed it away. He sighed.
"We're here. Come," he finally unlocked the door.
She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. Be patience. Don't lose your temper even though he is such a jerk.
"Ryn?"
"Why are you doing this to me, Jeremy? Why can't you leave me alone?"
"Can we have our dinner first? I bet you're hungry."
Her hand touched her growling stomach. She was famished.
"Come." He took her hand and led her to the restaurant.
They didn't face any problem entering the premise even though Ryn did not wear a dress. The waiter brought them to a private room. Jeremy did not want anyone to see them, knowing how private Ryn now.
She did not even manage to look at the menu when he simply ordered for both of them. He even did not forget to add chocolate mousse for dessert.
The waiter closed the door and left both of them alone.
"Now, no one is here. You can speak honestly. Why do you keep calling me?"
"Is it so hard to believe how much I love you?"
"Is it so hard to believe how much I hate you?"
"Love and hate are only divided with a thin line. You've been in love with me for years and I doubt your heart doesn't have my name at all."
"Just stop it, J. Just stop it. I beg you. We've been separated for years and you want me to act as if nothing happen?"
Yes… he wanted to delete that particular day. He wanted to pretend as if nothing happened. He wanted to act as if he never broke her heart… never broke up with her.
It was all just a nightmare.
"Can't we return back to what we used to?"
"No."
"What will it take for you to forgive me?"
"Nothing. I can't do this anymore. Please."
He opened his mouth but closed it back when the door was opened and waiters came in with their food. He sighed a bit, cursing for the wrong timing.
"After the meal, send me home. I come because I don't want the crews or anyone to see you near my house."
"Why is it so hard for you to give me a second chance?"
"After what you've done? Never."
Jeremy gulped down the red wine without even tasting it. It was her favourite but now it felt like sea water for all he cared. This was supposed to be a romantic dinner with her accepting him back but now?
"I'm full. Can you send me home now?"
He poured another glass of wine and looked at her. "Can't you give me another chance?"
She sighed, rubbing her temple. "I've given you two years, J. Two damn years. You've never called. You've never messaged. You didn't even care what happened to me in these two years. Why now?"
"I'm ready now, Ryn. I'm ready for us to create a family. I want to marry you."
"Marriage? This is not a game when you feel like you want me, I'll come to you and then when you're scared of commitment, you push me away. I'm a not a toy for you to play around."
She stood up and walked to the door, "Are you sending me home or do I have to call a cab?"
He threw the napkin away and stormed toward her. Without waiting for him to settle the bill, she went to the car.
This was definitely a disaster.
*~*~*~
Mika scrolled the page and her face darkened. Why would people use those kinds of words to comment? Why was their heart so black, full of jealousy?
"Love, eat your food." Jason pushed the plate full of vegetables toward her.
She had been ignoring him and the food even though she told him she was hungry.
"I can't believe this," she pushed the phone away and took a fork. She used it to pierce a small piece of broccoli angrily.
"What's wrong, love?"
"How can these people said that Ryn is unsuitable to be with Jeremy but that slut is suitable for big brother?"
"Who?"
"That slut who thought she can be with Jeremy just because she's in the same company as him. Enough for once she managed to break Ryn and Jeremy with her lies and now she used her fans to badmouth Ryn, saying that Ryn was the third person in their relationship. What third person? She's no one in Jeremy's eyes."
"Jennifer?"
"Who else? If not because of her lies, do you think Jeremy and Ryn would break up?"
"She still wants to be with Jeremy?"
"I guess so. Such a slut. Especially now with the group made a comeback. She just wants to make use of Jeremy's popularity to be more popular. So shameless!"
"Babe, I know you're angry but what's the fault of those vegetables? You should eat your food or you'd get sick."
Mika glared at the mushy vegetables on the plate. In her anger, she poked and stabbed it until it turned into mashed vegetables.
"I'm not hungry anymore. I want to go home."
He sighed heavily. When would the problem between Ryn and Jeremy be solved? He could still be patience when Mika kept focussing on those two but until when? He deserved attention too.
