Instead of going straight to Mika's place, Jeremy and Ryn went to Ryn's place to be exactly to pick up Ryn's mother. Actually, Ryn wanted to stay at her place with her parents but her mother actually persuaded her to spend the night with Jeremy instead. They did not want to interrupt the couple's night. Besides, they did not want to watch Ryn eating meat in front of them.
That was why she spent the night with Jeremy, much to Jeremy's happiness and gratitude toward her parents. He decided his future parents-in-law were so cool and supportive that he would do everything he could to help them even though they always ended up in failed businesses.
