Mika's confinement was done in her in-law's house. Her mother-in-law decided to observe Mika's health so all the dieticians and nurses were staying at the mansion as well.
Mrs Long and Dowager frequently came to chat with the elder woman as well as playing with the baby. The two women actually ignored Mika and focussed on the baby, much to the bemused of Jason and his parents. But they were not worried that the Longs would try to take the baby or demand the baby take their surname. Little Bao Bao was the first grandchild so it's very normal for the women so excited to coo and play with the baby.
