Jeremy was not happy. The moment he saw the bag and the warning glare he received from her hurt his feelings.
She still wanted to leave him even though he tried to tire her in bed.
Hence, now, he was driving her to the airport even though they hadn't slept yet. She refused to sleep because she did not want to miss her flight and he too did not want to sleep just to accompany her, well, he did use the time to persuade her to change her mind but failed miserably.
He threw his key to the valet and went to get the bag from the valet who helped get it out from the bonnet. He gave her an injured look but she ignored him. In fact, she straightened her hoodie and sweatpants. Then, she took her backpack and put the headphones around her neck. She planned to listen to music if she could not sleep during the journey.
She did not try to get her bag because she needed Jeremy to have his hands full so he could stop giving her that puppy-eyed look unhappily.
