Jacob was making his third coffee of the day when he found himself standing beside Ryn at the pantry. He looked behind but did not find Jeremy anywhere.
He gulped.
Jeremy, his boss, seemed a bit more possessive today. He did not want any misunderstanding to happen that would affect his life. He was too young to get hurt!
"Are you okay?"
She frowned when she noticed how shocked Jacob was when she went to stand beside him. She looked down at her outfit, thinking she had exposed something. But everything was buttoned properly. So why such a drastic reaction?
"Erm... Ms Ryn? Is there any problem? What can I do to help you?" Jacob asked as he grinned sheepishly, rubbing his nape. He realized his mistake for such a huge reaction when no one said anything. He straightened himself and looked at her, trying not to show how nervous he was, worried that his boss would appear suddenly and misunderstood both of them.
