When she woke up, it was already late in the evening. She tried to move but failed when something or someone holding her down. Her drowsy eyes looked at the person beside her still deep in sleeping, frowning.
Shouldn't he be at the office?
Just to make sure she wasn't mistaken about the day and time, she checked on the time. It also has a date and day. It was Monday, 3.25 pm. A time when Jeremy should still be in the office, working hard.
She was about to wake him up to ask but she cancelled her plan when she saw how tired he was looking. She sighed and stroked his hair instead.
"Sleep more. I will prepare something for us to eat," she told him even though he could not hear it.
Carefully, she untangled herself from him and walked to the kitchen. But, she made a detour to the bathroom first to freshen up. Then, she went to the kitchen to make something for the two of them to eat.
