Mei Li put one of the mugs of coffee onto the table while holding onto another one. She sipped it slowly, savouring the black bitter drink as the caffeine hit her brain and woke her up.
She really needed coffee to function. Being a manager really drained her physically and mentally. She survived on coffee now.
Ryn sipped her coffee slowly as she looked at the documents Mei Li just gave her. She never thought this manager of hers really took her words seriously because, in just one day, Mei Li managed to find so many jobs for her to choose from.
She placed the mug back onto the wooden surface and separated the files into two piles. She tapped the ones on the right and said "These I'm interested in."
Mei Li still drank her coffee while watching the documents on the approval side. She already knew those projects would interest Ryn but she did not expect one of the projects Ryn rejected.
