Ryn did not call him immediately. In fact, she took her time stretching her arms and back as she yawned loudly. Then, she went into the bathroom to freshen up before she went to the kitchen.
She still needed to defrost a piece of meat for her steak and prepare other ingredients for her dinner.
Once she was done then she turned her attention to her mobile phone. She took her phone, planning to call him back but someone else was faster than her.
But it was not Jeremy.
It was her best friend, Mika.
Ryn answered the call, postponing her plan to call her boyfriend. She was curious about what Mika wanted from her. She already answered all the messages Mika sent to her earlier and already planned to have their usual pyjama party this weekend here at her home. She did not want to spend the night at Mika's in-law's place.
