Jeremy stretched his arms tiredly as he walked toward his room. It was almost midnight when he finally was done with his work. He could not help smiling, knowing his bedroom was not empty at the moment.
Although Ryn wanted to return home after dinner, both Mrs Long and Mika refused to let her. His mother even went as far as making a sad look to coax Ryn to spend the night at the mansion.
Mika, to her unhappiness, has to leave when she realized her husband has come to pick her up. She was so puzzled to see him at the door, not knowing that he was there for her. She thought she would spend the night here with Ryn. She wanted to have a pyjama party with her best friend, just like what they used to do whenever they spent the night together.
Mika had no one to blame for her cluelessness but Jeremy. Maybe it was a bit childish of him but Jeremy conveniently 'forgot' about the call from Jason. Well, who asked Mika to 'steal' Ryn away from him?
