"Mei Li, don't give me that look. You do know I don't really like modelling that much," Ryn held Mei Li's hands. She gave her manager a solemn look.
Mei Li sniffed. She almost forgot about that. Ryn was so professional when working that it made it easy for her to forget that Ryn blamed her job for the breakup.
It took a lot for her to coax Ryn to make a comeback. Ryn was too kindhearted that she could forget about her heartache and helped her.
"Are you mad at me?" Ryn asked.
"What if I do? Will you change your mind?" Mei Li asked her back. She sounded sulky like a little child. Totally opposite to her appearance as a professional manager.
Ryn could only rub her nape sheepishly.
"So... what about the other contracts?" Mei Li asked slowly.
"You didn't notice all the contracts that I have short term and won't go over my contract time?" Ryn asked Mei Li back innocently.
