Ryn shook her head when he seemed to want her answer. She took over the box and closed it even with the wooden dessert fork inside. She pushed it aside and crossed her long legs after she leaned against the leather sofa.
"Not hungry?" he asked gently.
She shook her head at the answer. She was still taken aback by the 'surprise' and needed time to digest how their whereabouts were being leaked to the public. While she was mulling over this, her phone rang.
She looked at the display and frowned to see her manager's name. Without thinking, she accepted the call without moving away from Jeremy for privacy. In her mind, her manager wanted to discuss the recording. She did not give an answer to Mei Li, hence it was natural for her to think that.
"Hello."
"Hello, Ryn. Where are you?" Mei Li asked hurriedly.
"I'm at the airport, waiting for the flight. Why?" Ryn asked back with a frown. Why the worry in Mei Li's voice?
