They did not discuss the matter any longer once Jeremy changed into his working mode. Thanks to his little sister, despite both his father and little sister helping with the work at the office, Jeremy felt like the files never stopped coming and even the meetings albeit online.
Jeremy had suspicious that his father handed the work to his little sister while his little sister skipped work again to play outside. If they did do some of the work, Jeremy believed he would not have to deal with so many files and projects in the middle of his tour.
When it was time for lunch, Jeremy stood up and stretched his arms. He never stood nor moved away from the table during the 'working' hour, hence, when Ryn told him it was almost time for lunch, he realized how much time has passed in just a blink of an eye. He never noticed how long he has been sitting until his girlfriend interrupted his concentration.
